I thoroughly enjoyed the RNC last night; I thought it was quite entertaining.

Sarah Palin's speech was just brilliant. She is a very well spoken and confident young lady. She does have that problem of being a lying hypocrite about earmarks(see my earlier post), but judging from the rousing applause her speech received, the Republican audience didn't seem to place any importance on that whatsoever.

But, to me, the most astounding part of the evening was when the chap in the 10-gallon hat (I believe he is the "Rich" in "Big and Rich," the member who DOES support McCain) sang his original musical composition,a ballad in the popular Country & Western style, entitled "Raising McCain."

It was a little hard to hear all the lyrics, but was it not some kind of paen McCain's numerous sexual conquests, including his well-documented serial adulteries?

To say that I was flabbergasted by all this is to put it mildly.
Biggles 1st Theorem of Irregularities: Einstein proved that there are no straight lines in the universe. McCain has now established that there is no straight talk on the Straight Talk Express.
