This is an embarrassment to America! One of our freedom/values we represent to the world and this incident takes place for everyone to see.

Death panels

I stand corrected. The senate voted them out, the house back in.

If the doctor does not convince the family to decide on grandma, he doesn't get paid.

quote:
Another issue, Dr. Johnson noted, is the fact that payments to doctors for such counseling are tied to whether or not the patient and family actually follows through with the end-of-life care plan set forth during a consultation. If a patient were to change his or her mind, in other words, the doctor would not be reimbursed for the counseling provided.
Read it again. THEY DON"T GET PAID if the family does not follow through, and, it saves no money.

quote:
Currently, Medicare doesn't pay for consultations focusing on end-of-life care. Under the bill, Medicare beneficiaries would have them covered every five years, or more frequently if the individual's clinical condition deteriorates.

In addition to the coverage expansion, the bill also calls on the Medicare system to adopt quality standards for end-of-life care.

Joseph White, PhD, director of the Center for Policy Studies at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland said the bill's defenders were wrong in suggesting that providing end-of-life consultations would save money.

"The share of Medicare spending that goes to patients in their last year of life has not grown over the past four decades or so," he wrote in an e-mail. "That means costs at the end of life are not the driver of cost increases . . . . The whole idea that costs go up particularly because we keep proliferating services to old people at the end of their lives, compared to services to anyone else, is simply wrong. False."
We cant afford not to have serious discussions about the end of life. The docs will just have to follow the lawyers example and pony up for some pro bono work.

# Nearly one third of terminally ill patients with insurance used up most or all of their savings to cover uninsured medical expenses such as home care.

# 27 to 30 percent of Medicare payments cover the cost of care for people in the last year of life.

# 40 percent of Medicare dollars cover care for people in the last month of life.

# 12 percent of Medicare spending covers people who are in the last two months of life.

# 10 percent of Medicare beneficiaries account for 70 percent of program spending.
Well the post by the teabaggers on this topic prove the point I tried to make to poor ONO about the rattlesnakes that are products of Fox News hate. BMforbrains and others may some day run up on a liberal at one of their tea partys who will knock their ass down and stomp on their head. Actually, you need to cut off the head to kill a rattlesnakes.
Quote from BMforbrains:
It was way out of line, but she did go in disguise to disrupt the rally and get her picture taken, so mission accomplished.

Where did you get that information? Is that the slant over at Fox and fools? She had signs to give Rand Paul a mock award. She wasn't in a Benjamin Franklin costume or a three corner hat.

I am I said. Yeah YOU ARE and if you say it it comes from Fox news and is a LIE
Need to correct your post title. It should read Rand Paul supporter (singular) steps on woman's shoulder (not head).

In addition this doesn't even come close to my definition of stomped as many news sources have portrayed it.

I am not defending his actions but suggesting a more accurate description. He behaved as an idiot and bully.

To attempt to paint all Tea Party members as ruffians based on this incident makes about as much sense as describing all Democrats as Black Panther voter intimidators based on the Philly incident.

The title was incorrect, it wasn't stepped on head it was smashed head and yeah teabagger it was her head. You know not all liberals will roll over. I wish I had been there; the dude with glasses who dragged her to the ground would be sipping soup out of a straw today. If this is what it is coming to teabaggers there are lots of folk who may have to put up with your hate speech but can use our fists all over your lying faces and fat asses if you want to get violent. BRING IT ON!!!
I need to calm down but man, you **** teabaggers have resorted to beating up a young girl, and yeah she is a small girl I am watching her being interviewed on Olbermann, and you use Fox News tactics to defend it and try to cover it up. Somebody needs to beat the hell out of some three corner hat moron at the next teabag rally! And it won't be a twenty year old girl who weighs probably 100 lbs. You big bad teabaggers are some real pieces of work. Would love to see some Black Panther dudes work on the guy stomping on her head.

She was in disguise rushing forward, she's lucky they only wrestled her to the ground and subdued her. Could you post a link to the video of her getting her head "stomped". As far as Fox goes, I can tell you didn't watch their report. They reported it, showed the video and didn't sugar coat it at all. Steve Doocy stated that the video was clear enough that all involved could be identified, and called it out of line. I disagree. So what's the beef with their reporting? I didn't see her stomped on. Someone rushing forward like that in a disguise is asking for a lot more than a "stomping" which she didn't get. And with the wig off "she" looked like a man. I think she was setting someone up for a lawsuit.

Provide the provenance for these statements!
The TRUE face of a juvenile, gullible, left winger...coming un-hinged.

Perfect "Stormtrooper" candidate.

The crowd over reacted when the woman tried to get too close to Rand Paul.

Here's a more complete version of the clip:

The attack is unusual for a conservative rally. Of course, if it were a left wing, regressive one, that sort of thing is to be expected.

Who can for get SEIU union thugs beating up an old black man at a town hall rally!

On the morning SEIU's assault on Mr. Gladney assault, a White House spokesman made a presentation to Senate Democrats, a ‘battle plan’ to quell the protests. The presentation advised Democrats “ to punch back twice as hard.”

By all means overlook all the attacks by liberals. You should get off the forum if you can't take what you try to dish out. No party is as corrupt or two-faced as the democrapic party but their dirty deeds always get a nice coat of whitewash by the liberal media. When Fox dares to show the true story the libbies go nuts. The sissy boys and bully women democraps attack Sara Palin's family, especially her handicapped child, but dare call others cowards.
I put rocky on ignore since if I want to hear gutter language, I can watch a high school ball game.

Here's a little refresher of past attacks at rallies.

August 7, 2009
Dear Mr. Hennessy:
I am Kenneth Gladney’s attorney. Kenneth was attacked on the evening of August 6, 2009 at Rep. Russ Carnahan’s town hall meeting in South St. Louis County. I was at the town hall meeting as well and witnessed the events leading up to the attack of Kenneth. Kenneth was approached by an SEIU representative as Kenneth was handing out “Don’t Tread on Me” flags to other conservatives. The SEIU representative demanded to know why a black man was handing out these flags. The SEIU member used a racial slur against Kenneth, then punched him in the face. Kenneth fell to the ground. Another SEIU member yelled racial epithets at Kenneth as he kicked him in the head and back. Kenneth was also brutally attacked by one other male SEIU member and an unidentified woman. The three men were clearly SEIU members, as they were wearing T-shirts with the SEIU logo.

Man’s Finger Bitten Off in Scuffle at Health Care Rally

September 3, 2009

THOUSAND OAKS — A 65-year-old man had his finger bitten off Wednesday evening at a health care rally in Thousand Oaks, according to the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department.

Sheriff’s investigators were called to Hillcrest and Lynn Road at 7:26 p.m.

About 100 protesters sponsored by MoveOn.org were having a rally supporting health care reform. A group of anti-health care reform protesters formed across the street.

A witness from the scene says a man was walking through the anti-reform group to get to the pro-reform side when he got into an altercation with the 65-year-old, who opposes health care reform.

The 65-year-old was apparently aggressive and hit the other man, who then retaliated by biting off his attacker’s pinky, according to Karoli from DrumsnWhistles.

Not a rally, but shows how well unions act in general.

Unions attack workers with bats then give them away at Phillies game

It's amazing how the mainstream media picks on Conservatives and Tea Partiers and the like, painting them as violent individuals.

Yet, last week here in Philadelphia, the Iron Workers Union attacked construction workers with baseball bats while protesting a Toys R Us who hired non-union guys to do some renovations. Of course, after its initial report on Friday in the news, there have been crickets from the media.
Let's see... an "activist" woman is put on the ground and has her head stepped on. David Guy McKay and Bradley Neil Crowder plan to bomb the 2008 Republican convention. The guy who accosted the "activist" is obviously a dumb*** acting like a thug, while the other two, McKay & Crowder, were trying real hard to KILL people with their "statement". I'm sure you are less than moved since it was going to be Republicans, but I ask you, "Who was showing real, hard core hate here?"

Now son, I'm tired, old, and fat, and on your best day... all you can be is a teabagee... Wink
She held up a sign and was attempting to show it to Rand Paul. Of course she didn't get the opportunity because she was dragged to the ground and stomped on by a group of bullies. You teabaggers need to leave this one alone. All this is doing is proving to the nation and the world what cowards and bullies are in the tea party "patriots" and the whackjobs, especially the WOMEN, who are defending this.

No only teabaggers and the fools at Fox are selling this bunch of lies and cover up. The rest of the nation and the world is not buying it! And listen Mr. Teabagger ferrellj, you want to pm me to talk about my mother? Is this the level of maturity you are at? You don't talk about a southern boys mama no matter how big a bad ass you think you are although you are a sniveling bullying coward. You gonna talk about my mama????? Mad
