Uhhh....in the interest of being a good neighbor, if I can do anythi............never mind. Welcome to the forum. I hope you like it here.

I continue to amazed at all these "expert" modern day ministers and religious scholars who seek to make these predictions based upon Eastern Time or Pacific Time, where ever they are at.  Any student of the Scriptures should realize that God deals with Israel and therefore when God's timetable comes around it will be on God's time but will relate to Israel and based upon the time in Israel and not New York or California.  We Americans so often think the world, and universe, revoles around us.  Same with many Gentiles.  Some Gentiles believe God is done with the Jews and now has chosen the Gentiles as His People.  I don't believe this at all.  I am grateful to the Jew and the nation of Israel for it is through their unbelief that salvation was open unto the Gentiles however this was God's plan all along as revealed far in advance to Abraham.

I fully believe that when the Rapture comes or whatever event God has destined then it will happen based upon the day as determined by the Jews and Israel and we Gentiles are along for the Ride and should continue to be thankful and grateful.  At least that's my opinion.  I cringe often when I think of the participants of the KKK calling themselves Christian and yet having the opinions they did about and toward the Jews.  There is no patient on Spiritual ignorance and as the "Rapture advocates of May 21st prove, no shortage of parishioners willing to follow them.

Let me get this straight...

You honestly think that the "rapture" will be tied to a race of human beings of jewish origin?

You are kidding, right?

Cause if not, then you as big a fool as those who sold their lives to follow the idiot who was wrong today.

Tell ya what...  I KNOW that God will be a-calling us faithful back home next Thurdsay...Cause he told me so, see...  So you just sell all your stuff and give me the money and I'll PERSONALLY make sure you are in with the ENTIRE jewish nation, I'll make you a honorary member, and you will be IN!

No, not at all.  I believe that all believers, Christians, will be raptured whether Jew or Gentile.  My mentioning of Jews is that God's people are the Jewish nation/Israel.  I hope that anyone reading my post above would have realized that what I meant was that if there was a time associated with the Rapture then it would be not in Eastern Time or Pacific time as the prediction was by Camping but rather God's dealing with Humanity would be centered around Israel and therefore the time zone that Israel is on.  As Christians and knowing what the Scriptures, and Christ, say concerning the rapture then no one will know the time.  Only God the Father.

Just what made you believe I said only Jews would be included in the Rapture?  I re-read my post and I thought it was fairly clear that I was referring to one aspect of the false prediction about the Rapture predicting it and calculating it as if it was calculated to Pacific time.  My point was if there was some time calculation it would be referenced according to the time in Israel not California.

It also seems you may have some taken some offense to my even mentioning the Jewish nation.  I wonder what your interpretation of the following Scripture is?  What do you believe it's saying that is?

 Romans 11:17-21 (CEV)
17 You Gentiles are like branches of a wild olive tree that were made to be part of a cultivated olive tree. You have taken the place of some branches that were cut away from it. And because of this, you enjoy the blessings that come from being part of that cultivated tree.
18 But don't think you are better than the branches that were cut away. Just remember that you are not supporting the roots of that tree. Its roots are supporting you.
19 Maybe you think those branches were cut away, so that you could be put in their place.
20 That's true enough. But they were cut away because they did not have faith, and you are where you are because you do have faith. So don't be proud, but be afraid.
21 If God cut away those natural branches, couldn't he do the same to you?

OOH I got one too!

Then Jesus stood up again and continued teaching his apostles: “I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. I am the vine, and you are the branches. And the Father requires of me only that you shall bear much fruit. The vine is pruned only to increase the fruitfulness of its branches. Every branch coming out of me which bears no fruit, the Father will take away. Every branch which bears fruit, the Father will cleanse that it may bear more fruit. Already are you clean through the word I have spoken, but you must continue to be clean. You must abide in me, and I in you; the branch will die if it is separated from the vine. As the branch cannot bear fruit except it abides in the vine, so neither can you yield the fruits of loving service except you abide in me. Remember: I am the real vine, and you are the living branches. He who lives in me, and I in him, will bear much fruit of the spirit and experience the supreme joy of yielding this spiritual harvest. If you will maintain this living spiritual connection with me, you will bear abundant fruit. If you abide in me and my words live in you, you will be able to commune freely with me, and then can my living spirit so infuse you that you may ask whatsoever my spirit wills and do all this with the assurance that the Father will grant us our petition. Herein is the Father glorified: that the vine has many living branches, and that every branch bears much fruit. And when the world sees these fruit-bearing branches — my friends who love one another, even as I have loved them — all men will know that you are truly my disciples.

That is the one I heard.

But I liked yours too!

I guess we both will have to wait and see how it plays out.

Hi Al,

If you really want to know about what will happen at the End Times, take a look at the new discussion titled "Did God Create A Universe And Then Destroy It?"   Of course, it will not match the teachings of your New Age Urantia Book bible which you always want to quote -- but, in that post you will find the true Bible teaching on the End Times.

God bless, have a wonderful, blessed day,

Bill
