According to Rasmussen, 52% of Americans think the Tea Party members are more trustworthy and knowledgeable than congress while only 30% are stupid enough to believe in the intelligence of congress.

Of course the way the idiot obama and his henchmen have been crowing about the way America loves what he and the congress have accomplished, you'd think this poll would be reversed. Of course the scrawny little communist-in-chief is trying in vain to convince some of the fence sitters that there was a landslide of support for his welfare bill when in fact it was nothing but a mudslide.

The first week of salesmanship by the dimocrats and the president hasn't done any good. According to the new Rasmussen poll, only 41 percent of Americans think the law is "good for the country," compared with 50 percent who see it as "bad for the country." Last week the ratio was 41–49 percent. Sixty percent think the measure is "likely to increase the deficit"—also a figure unchanged from last week.

In Gallup's new poll, Americans think the law will harm the U.S. economy (44–34 percent), the overall quality of health care in the U.S. (55–29 percent), and the federal balance sheet (61–23 percent).

Americans think the welfare bill will adversely affect "the health-care coverage you and your family receive" (34–24 percent); "the quality of health care you and your family receive" (35–21 percent); and the "costs you and your family pay for health care: (50–21 percent).

Ah, poor obama and his gaggle of dirtycrats. November is only SEVEN months away!

You do know, you twisted the words of the poll right? It's 52% think the tea party members has a better understanding of the issues facing America today than the average member of Congress. Not that members are more trustworthy and knowledgeable. As much as you scream about biases you know better than that.

Nope dopey. You must have looked at a watered-down liberal account.
It is, indeed, formally called "Black and White Thinking" and was analyzed in a great little book called "The Moral and Intellectual Progress of College Students" back in the 1960s. It is the hallmark of those who never have progressed beyond the junior high school level of thinking: there is one right answer, always. Either for us or against us. Rand and Lenin on each side of the spectrum epitomize these politically.

I call it "hung up on very vulgar Hegelian dialectics without discovering that reactions are, in fact, multivectored."
A few more Ras facts:
One week after the House of Representatives passed the health care plan, 54% of voters still favor repealing it.

Overall, 70% of voters are angry with the policies of the federal government. That includes 48% who are very angry. Fifty-three percent (53%) now are at least somewhat concerned that those opposed to Obama’s policies will resort to violence, but 42% don’t share that concern.

Just 11% of voters rate Congress’ performance as good or excellent, but 64% say Congress is doing a poor job.
