My kid is working at the UA bookstore. They have a lot of authors and booksignings. If there's anyone you guys are interested in meeting, make a list. I'll let you know when they're there. He can at least get an autographed book.

He just go me a copy of "All Over But the Shouting" by Rick Bragg, autographed. (This is pretty much the same as my life story.) Robert McCammon will be there next month.

Who do you read?

It would be so cool to get a book signed by Rick Bragg! If Jasper Fforde ever swings by, let me know!!! He is my absolute favorite author:-) But I don't think he leaves Britain too often...

Actually, I can do that. They still have a copy of "Ava's Man" autographed. Do you want it? PM me.

You can see Katherine Windham Tucker in Selma at the Tale Tellin' Festival. It is the 2nd weekend in October. They have a Market Day (craft show stuff) the 2nd Satuday in October and she usually has a booth there. I have seen her twice at Kentuck in Northport. It was a few years ago though. My grandmother worked for his sister years ago. I have known her for many years she is a great woman. If you happen to listen to public radio she has a commentary every Friday morning at 7:35 on the Tuscaloosa/Shoals APR station.

I actually called her up and talked with her for a report for one of my English classes. She's listed in the book, talks like we do, and is adorable.
