If you are in the Rogersville area I like Dr. Gaputis. He is very capable and thorough and before I chose him I checked with some nurses in the area that know him and they said that he was responsible for saving one man's life who was mis-diagnosed by another local physician. The man had Lyme Disease.

In the Shoals area I like either Dr. Hart or Dr. Laughlin but I'm unsure whether either are taking new patients.

These are the only doctors I know enough about to recommend.
Dr. Hart is fabulous! He also has a terrific nurse named Andrea. We stay away from the Medical Mall. Me and the hubby both went there and will never go there again! I did see Dr. Albert and his wife and were pleased with them, but switched to Dr. Hart because I have to see Dr. Meckes for gastro stuff. Just makes better sense for them to all be at Shoals. However, I have testing and surgeries at Helen Keller.

Just kiddin'. It depends on what you're looking for. I heard Dr. Wampler opened a practice in Greenhill. Anyone know anything about it? I usually go to doc in a box over there by the mall...the one not far from Aldi's.

A lot of my neighbors go to Wampler. He was in with a lady doc in Lexington. He moved for reasons I won't say here, but he is honest and won't do unnecessary tests. They have laser treatments there too.

I have heard people say that Dr. Wampler is good, also Dr. Irons and Dr. Mann.

Dr. Hobbs is very intelligent, but does not have much of a personality.

I have a friend that used to work for Dr. Wampler and so on her referral I have seen him and the CRNP that works for him -- Gina I think is her first name. They were both extremely patient friendly. They helped figure out that I had a kidney stone and got me in to see the urologist that day and I had surgery by week's end. I will definitely be using them in the future. They appear to see all ages from the waiting room and their new office is state of the art complete with an xray machine that is top notch. The urologist didn't even have an xray machine, but he could read the xray disc that they sent me with...that impressed me...

Uh, nursey, my other half is a nurse, very good one. Have you ever heard of the Alabama Board of Nursing? Of course, you might not be licensed now, you didn't say.

Fox, she could be retired like Shuga. Then she can say anything she wants to...it would be nice.
Eye-gor you crack me up!!!!
I use Dr. Wampler, he is as good as you will find anywhere.
