If all the parking lots at Muscle Shoals restaurants were empty Sunday, it was because everyone was at Regina K's for lunch . Huge crowd enjoyed meat and three plus drink and dessert. Food was great. Good old home cooked veggies and about 6 different meat choices. Pies reminded me of those you once could get at Southland. Give them a try.....support local owners. Sure beats "chain" eateries.

I'm always in search of great coconut cream pie.
Any restaurant that has really good pies will usually be more successful than restaurants without pie.
Regina K's is in the former location of Gill's Steak House/Maxwell's on Avalon across from McBride Elementary School. My companions had the chocolate pie and the coconut pie, They also served peach cobbler and banana pudding. Real live homemade desserts!
Kayevis awesome! EVERYTHING is made from scratchwonderful a wonderful cook and runs a clean kitchen. I'be known her for a number of years. She really has worked hard so I hope the area can come out and support her in this endeavor. Oh and before anyone says anything : I am not related to her butbInwould be proud to be!

I wish they had a facebook page or web site where menu for the day is posted. Keep it current - it is the best free advertisement to be had. BTW, their tea was very good.
They do have a facebook page and have started updating it with the hot bar foods of the day. Kaye makes a fantastic hamburger too. If butter roll is offered for dessert, get it. You won't be sorry!
We ate there yesterday. Had what was probably the best country fried steak I ever had, the veggies were ok but not awesome as has been reported, but maybe I'm just used to veggies cooked with onions and some bacon fat or something. Corn bread was good, and the tea was excellent.
I'm glad to have another cafe around, eating at the same place over and over can get tiresome, so we'll probably swap between here and Garden Gate .

Do you mean hot bar as in a buffet? Their FB page doesn't mention one.
The food bar is served cafeteria style. You can see everything being offered for that day and choose your meat and 3. Not self-serve. Their serving size is very generous.
