It won't be long before you'll be asking if you remember $4.00 a gallon.

I was told yesterday that it will be $4.00+ a gallon across the country by Memorial Day weekend.

Glad my cars only sip the stuff. I feel sorry for everyone still driving those gas guzzlers but they knew this was coming. It's not like it hasn't been in the news for the last few years.

I'm not critizing you personally but it is that exact thinking that they want us to have. Prices will level out for a couple months and then start going up rapidly and we will all wish it was like it was juat a couple months ago. Why? We were gripping about $3.00 per gallon and saying that was too high, now we are asking for it.
there is an upside to this, there are not quite as many teenagers out ripping the streets from boredom and as a source of entertainment.
oh and I am walking much more, heck i ran out of bread yesterday and walked to Hometown market, and it didn't kill me afterall(or at least thats must have been what i was thinking would happen all those years I would jump in the car to run fetch one item)LOL!

I wonder what it cost just for a teenager to date now days? Gee, remember the days when you could take a date out on $15.00 and have change left? Smiler

You make me feel so old ! One dollar for gas at 14 cents / gallon, a buck a head to get into the Shoals Theatre, and another buck would get some hamburgers and cokes afterwards at 15 cents each.
