Hi to my Forum Friends,

No doubt there will be some folks on the Religion Forum lining up to "shoot the messenger." However, I have found that OneNewsNow does a good job of presenting news which the liberal mainstream news networks and channels will not give us. Do I believe what the Egyptian Foreign Minister is telling us in the story below? I see no reason for him to lie.

The Obama administration's attitude, since taking office, has been very negative toward our long time ally, Israel. As an American, I am concerned about this. As a Christian, I am even more concerned about this anti-Israel mindset in the White House.

Added emphasis was shown during the March 2010 visit of Israel's Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, to the White House. When Obama could not push Netanyahu into signing an anti-Israel agreement written by Obama's team -- Obama, like a school yard bully, walked out of the meeting. In other words, Obama's actions were: "If you won't play by my rules; I will take my ball and go home!"

Obama publicly humiliated the Prime Minister of our long time ally, Israel -- because Obama could not have his way.

Now, this report below comes from one of Obama's Muslim nation friends. So, why should we doubt its validity?

REPORTS SAY OBAMA ADMITTED HE'S A MUSLIM
Russ Jones - OneNewsNow - 6/17/2010
http://www.onenewsnow.com/Cult...ault.aspx?id=1053338

Two media reports are serving to fuel speculation about Barack Obama's religious beliefs.

Since before he was elected, controversy has stirred over the extent of President Obama's ties to Islam. During the campaign, he spoke openly of both his Muslim upbringing and his adult conversion to Christianity. But now two major Middle East media outlets -- Nile TV International and Israel Today Magazine -- are reporting that the president has admitted in recent months that he is a Muslim.

Those outlets say that Obama, in a one-on-one meeting earlier this year with Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Aboul Gheit, told Gheit that he was still a Muslim, the son of a Muslim father, and the step-son of a Muslim step-father; that his half brothers in Kenya are Muslims; and that he was sympathetic towards the Muslim agenda.

Pamela Geller, publisher of AtlasShrugs.Com and author of the new book, The Post-American Presidency: The Obama Administration's War on America, says this most recent comment by Obama has been ignored by the mainstream media and should be of great concern to U.S. citizens.

"[In] this latest report...Foreign Prime Minister Gheit on Nile Television...said that, in confidence, Obama told him that he was a Muslim," says Geller, "and that after he straightened out domestic issues would show the Muslim world how to handle Israel."

Geller also says that while this topic is nothing new, it is further evidence of Obama's sympathetic tendencies towards those who mean harm to the U.S. and his intent to reshape America's religious foundation.

"If you look at the man's record, it's shocking," she laments. "[Especially] when you review how he declared an end to the -- quote, unquote -- 'war on terror'...how he floated the idea that he would talk to the violent, genocidal Hamas, that he insisted and recruited for Muslims in his administration and created an actual new department that reported to Hillary Clinton for the Muslim 'ummah' [the whole Arab world]."

Geller goes on to say that Obama's embrace of Islam shows his hatred toward Israel and effectively abandons the Holy Land, surrounded by its enemies, to fight its own battles.

My Friends, America cannot continue to spit into the face of God -- and survive. Our current White House occupant, as soon as he was in office, ran to the Middle East to announce to them that America is not a Christian nation. He bowed to and kissed the hand of the Saudi king. And, he humiliated the Prime Minister of the nation we know is God's chosen people, living in His promised land, Israel. How long can King Obama continue to do this before God's patience runs out?

America definitely needs the prayers of all Christian believers -- in this time which could be America's darkest days.

Please. Please share this with your Friends, Relatives, Associates, and Neighbors -- all your FRANs. We, as Christian believers, must stand up and declare America to still be a Christian Nation, as it was founded.

And, we, as Christian believers, must stand with God's chosen people, Israel. We cannot allow a "Jeremiah Wright" mindset to turn the Oval Office into an anti-God pulpit. We cannot allow a "Jeremiah Wright" attitude to destroy our Christian heritage and put a wedge between America and our ally, Israel.

God bless, have a wonderful, blessed day,

Bill

Hi Hay,

It is comforting to know that you have shown no animosity.

You tell me, "The garbage you constantly spew is filled with lies, hatred, and unintelligent dribble."

Would you care to explain a wee bit more what you mean? Or can you?

Or is this just more of the the old "all Christian speech is hate speech" rhetoric?

Mostly that your information comes from one point of view and is only defended from the sources that give that one point of view. And in the end, what does it matter if Obama is a Muslim? Open your eyes and see that every Muslim isn't a terrorist, they are law abiding citizens just looking to practice their religion beliefs. We don't lump all Christians in with Fred Phelps or the many cults that continually pop up do we? You can sit here and say "my religion is right, you have to be mine" all you want, but in the end, you have no more say about what is correct than anyone else. Just because you grew up a Christian, or were exposed to Christianity than any other religion doesn't mean it is the end all be all of religions. But yeah, "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof;" America is a Christian nation.

Hi Hay,

First, I did not grow up a Christian. I wish I had; but, unfortunately, I did not become a Christian believer until I was fifty.

Regarding Islam being a religion of peace; you need to study it a wee bit more. No "religion of peace" will tell its followers to convert all the infidels (by the way, that is you and me) or destroy them.

Yes, it matters a lot if the president of the United States is a Muslim. America was founded as a Christian nation -- and being a Christian nation is what has kept America strong -- and what makes America a magnet drawing folks from all the nations to our shores -- to taste our Christian freedom.

How long can that last if our president is a Muslim who bows to and kisses the hand of pagan kings?

Sources, Bill. Sources. You keep coming up with all of these highly questionable sources. That site you just got your (mis)information from was founded by the Rev. Donald Wildmon. Here is just a little bit of what HE is all about:

View of Judaism
Wildmon has stated that he believes obscene content on television and in movies is a result of the media being controlled by Jews, who intentionally place anti-Christian messages and activities into their programming to undermine Christianity.[55][56][57]

And that's SOME of what he stands for. You need to find sources that can be verified, not just go by the opinion of some anti-semetic nut case.

Hi O,

As you said: SOURCES! SOURCES! SOURCES!

I see no source for the statement you have posted against Don Wildmon.

Or is this just another atheistic "Let's throw it against the wall and see if it sticks" type of comment?

Oh, believe me, I am familiar with Bill's modus operandi. Bill is someone who is certain that HIS interpretation of the Bible is the only correct one, and that if someone gets even a SLIGHTLY different meaning out of a scripture verse than the one he gets, they are wrong and doomed to go to Hell. I have seen him tell Catholics that they are saved, in one sentence, then tell them they are skating on thin ice in the next. I have seen him post the most outrageous things he gets off of these questionable websites, and then when he is proven wrong, he refuses to answer, just goes on to post a new topic about something else.

Yes, Bill has some sort of problem with honesty and accountability. But I pray for him anyway. And I pray even harder for those he has pushed away from the Lord with his over the top foolishness.

Hi O,

You tell me: SOURCES! SOURCES! -- yet, you post with no source -- and when I ask for your source, you tell me Wikipedia. All this tells me is that you have NO source.

Saying Wikipedia is analogous to saying, "It's on the internet!" No kidding! Really?

If you have a source, post the URL so that we can verify what you have typed. Otherwise it is just Big O writing something.

And, to my Amens on your posts -- yes, if what you say is correct and is Christian -- you will get an Amen. If not, then, I may challenge you -- like now for your source URL.

God bless, have a wonderful, blessed day,

Bill

Don Wildmon's "One News Now" does not create these reports. One News Now collects information from other outlets that the MSM considers too conservative or conflicts with their ideology. Don Wildmon had nothing to do with creating the articles.
This is the silliest thread started on the forums in a long time.

Ok I will say that until Obama comes out and announces he is a muslim then all reports of his religious beliefs are just opinion or hear say.

And on that note...WHO CARES???? muslim, christian, wiccan, its ALL a bunch of nonesense. So no matter what religion he follows it makes no difference.

We have had plenty of really bad christian presidents, so why not see what a muslim president will do. I just look forward to the day when religion is not part of our political system altogether.

One day....

Hi Jan,

The only BAD Christian president I can recall in my lifetime is named Jimmy Carter, the peanut man. And, America would have been better off if he had stayed on his peanut farm.

You say that it doesn't matter what faith the president of the United States follows. Well, I suppose if one has no faith; he/she will not care to hold their leader to any faith.

However, since America was founded as a Christian nation -- and America has always been a Christian nation -- and, the majority of Americans do claim some Christian affiliation; I would say that it does matter to most Americans.

And, while we are at it -- ask him again for his birth certificate. And, warn him to stay out of Arizona until he finds it.

God bless, have a wonderful, blessed day,

Bill

Billy Joe Bob Gene is right. Article 6, section 3 of the Constitution reads "no religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office or public trust under the United States." If even if they were all Christians (and I don't believe they were), this nation certainly wasn't founded on the idea that Christianity, or religion period, is the end all, be all.
Ceiling Cat,

Article 6, section 3 is one of the Satanic Verses of the Constitution!

Follow Brother Bill Gray and pretend that that verse, as well as the First Amendment are just not in the document! Gawd and Jeebus demand it!

This country was founded on Biblican principles, not the ideas of the Enlightenment, Thomas Paine, Thomas Jefferson, or David (**** him) Hume. Not even the Reformation. Oh, hell, no.

Repent! Repent and follow Bi... er, God!

TR
Bill, there are PLENTY of articles pointing out his anti-semetism. But why should I copy and paste them for you when you would never admit I was right, even if the proof were staring you in the face? You wouldn't even admit you were wrong about the "Planned Parenthood teaching ten year olds how to be hot" tripe you posted when I first joined the forums. I PROVED you were wrong then, and you just stopped acknowledging me on the forums. You NEVER answered, never admitted you were wrong, and never apologised. As a matter of fact, I don't know why I am even bothering to talk to you now. You seem to have delusions that YOU are infallible, and you condemn anyone who disagrees with you. You preach that the Bible is the only truth, and yet you skew that truth to suit your political agenda. I've told you before, God doesn't like it when people use His name to further their own ends. YOU are taking God's name in vain every time you try to push your politics on people "in the name of God". AND, you are turning people off, when you COULD be encouraging people to come to God. You come across as a fundamentalist wacko, and people don't want to associate with folks like you. I will continue to pray that you see the light before you do even more harm.

O NO, I remember that planned parenthood thread. And there was a string of lies that followed that one, that never were retracted. I guess the latest about the separation of church and state is the latest.... I think there are a few people on here who ARE Christians, who do not buy into the garbage that is being fed. I do not believe in using God's name to push an agenda. Does this mean I'm not a Christian? NO! I respect all people, whatever religion/color/creed/sexualorientation= whatever!
I am sick and tired of the self proclaimed moderator thinking he is judge and jury on this forum.[/QUOTE]

Wildmon, his babbling little boy, and American Family Radio are among the least trustworthy of media. Just this afternoon, they had yet another wack job on there contending that the President was not born in Hawaii and adding the newest twist to that "birther" insanity, namely that Hawaiian officials have been intimidated into keeping the "true story" of Obama's birth under wraps. NO ONE--I repeat, NO ONE in the "birther" madhouse has yet been able to explain away those birth notices printed in two Hawaiian newspapers in the very week of Obama's birth, with his name and the names of his parents. These are printed editions of the papers, held in the archives, or "morgues" of these newspapers, and they prove beyond ANY reasonable doubt that he was born in Hawaii.

But with the diehard "birthers," reason carries little weight; they are nourished on emotion and fantasy, and with some racism and hatred thrown in for good measure.!

Hi Loki,

Maybe you see something I have missed -- but I do not see "separation" nor "church" nor "state" anywhere in that statement.

What I do see is wording which says that Congress shall not establish a state church -- but, I still, for he life of me -- cannot find "separation" in there anywhere.

Can you help me with this?

God bless, have a wonderful, blessed day,

Hi Beter and Ono,

As usual you get all in a dither about something, make accusations against someone who is defending the faith -- and ALL you give us is YOUR opinions. You have given us absolutely nothing else -- only the fact that you dislike this man and wild accusations -- with no supporting source information.

The Bible would call that "being a gossip!"

No, stating well known facts in an open Forum is not gossip. And, if you will recall, when I state a fact, I do give a source reference to allow you to verify my information.

Now, you may poo-poo my source; that is your right -- but, that does not invalidate my source -- except in your mind.

And, my comment in the post above to you and Beter is that you toss out all sorts of personal thoughts -- but, you do not support them with any source references. Thus, I file them as gossip -- only your opinion and not fact.

Well Bill, YOU constantly "poo poo" MY sources, such as the wiki source I quoted earlier in this thread, and of course you refused to even RESPOND when I quoted unimpeachable sources on the Girl Scout thing. The only difference is that MOST people put a lot more faith in the sources I use than the ones you do. You think that the reactionary websites that you frequent are more reliable than snopes or factcheck, which even most reactionaries will agree are non-partisan. Face it Bill, you only want to believe what YOU believe, no matter how far out there it is, and when presented with FACTS, you run and hide or start a new thread.

Liar Bill, you somehow refused to notice wht I posted about THIS in the post to which you responded with the above blithering drivel:

"NO ONE--I repeat, NO ONE in the 'birther' madhouse has yet been able to explain away those birth notices printed in two Hawaiian newspapers in the very week of Obama's birth, with his name and the names of his parents. I have repeatedly posted links to those notices and you have repeatedly ignored the compelling evidence that they provide concerning the place and date of the President's birth. It is YOU who denigrate supporting evidence and you do it in the most puerile way--you just ignore it, no matter how conclusive or profound it is. You are thus clearly demonstrated to be both cowardly and dishonest with the facts.
