I would love to see Parker Griffith lose his own primary, so I guess I will be voting in the Republican primary in a little over a month. Since I'll already be there, I figure I should cast a vote for the party's nominee for governor. Having reviewed all of their platforms, that they provided on their individual websites, I can say with certainty that I will not be voting for any of them in the general election. I'm open to suggestions. Who's the the best of the worst seeking the Republican nomination?

Voting in the rep primary because you want to kick out an opponent is low. Why not just vote in the democratic one for who you want?

For one, I'm not a Democrat. I've never consistently voted in one primary - my reasons change depending on the election. Second, I see literally no difference in my thought process and the thought process of people who vote in the presidential election and choose "the lesser of two evils," while acknowledging that they aren't crazy about the person they're voting for.
i don't vote in the primary.
i just wait and vote against whoever is in office at the moment.

if it's a situation wehre the incumbent isn't seeking reelection, i vote for whoever's ads on tv and the radio annoy me the least.

because let's face it - all these people are the same sort of scum, no matter which flag they fly. i've noticed that the one screaming loudest about how great he is and how corrupt is opponent is typically the worst choice.

so i vote for whoever slings the least mud if there is no one to vote out...

Have you considered moving to another state? Your attitude is not exactly what we need right now. Be Positive, don't tell me what you hate, tell me what you like and believe in.

I like honesty, and running on one ticket and switching parties a year later isn't the most honest thing. I want to see Griffith gone, and I actually do like Les Phillips. As for governor, I don't have a preference between the two Democrats, and I don't like any of the Republicans.
