I agree about the commercials I look at that hair and just want to call him and say go wash your hair. I have not been there in about 2 years, my husband and I went there one afternoon after a trip to Lowes, we are remodeling our house. So we were not dressed up we were sat in the area near where they keep their glasses, tea and ice. I had ice dropped on me tea splattered on me and just the worse service ever. The waitress had her nose in the air so high she would drown in the rain. There were 6 other people in the restuaurant. The managers comment was everyone has a bad day. We have not been back since.

AGREED...I don't want to be in the same building with this character. He and his commercials are the reason I have never been in that place.
Those other commercials mentioned have a lot to do with why the remote control is always in my hand...mute/channel change are excellent options and go a long way toward establishing how ineffective these ads really are. Okay, when the Matress King guy added his daughter (granddaughter) to his ad...added the "cute" factor, my toleration was greatly increased...she is so pleased with herself.
Anyone who has eaten there knows the commercials don't really represent the place. I think it's all just a joke that some people may take to seriously. Rick is actually very smart and a good business man. He has helped downtown Florence more than any of you have. I respect the fact that he's just running his business the way HE wants to. If you don't like the commercials don't go eat there but if you do go I bet you'll like it.

That being said yes I think they are weird, I don't pay attention to them though.
Rick is a nice guy, too. I was in eating lunch when a busload of Mennonites hit town. Several of them were sitting out in front on his benches (it was summer), and even though it was pretty busy, he took the time to take them all a glass of ice water.

His commercials are insane, though. Razzer I keep missing Celebrity Fight Night.

I'm impressed, that is the kindest thing I have ever heard about him. Now if he would just clean up.

What about the Burger King and Quaker oats commercials? Especially the Burger King.... I switch channels whenever one of those commercials come on.
