Yeah, they're making too much of it. In one of the videos the crosses are black, and you can see weeds grown up around and in between them, looks like everything else is mowed and neat. Then in other photos the crosses are different and no weeds or grass in them. So who knows how neat they were kept. Anyway, after 13 years it shouldn't matter if they were taken down. I tend to agree with some who said 6 months, a year maybe, then take them down. The family can build memorials in the cemetery or even in their own yards. IF it was me, that would mean more to me and i wouldn't even want anything on the road. I bet too, if they had just been taken down and nothing said by the family, very few people would have even noticed they were gone. I still can't see what makes this a news story.

What a sad person this woman who complained is. She is inhuman and has no compassion. She needs to get a life. What a horrible excuse for a person. I agree she needs to be removed so no one has to she her because she is an eyesore.
