That's weird. I'd think getting a full paycheck would improve the quality of life.
Eating at Rosie's must be a religious experience, for some.
I guess we now know what days of the week they're operating at a loss.

The one here was already closed on Sunday. Like Bamaman said...most likely not enough business on those days. Too many places to eat Mexican food.

I don't necessarily want to agree with y'all and say that Rosie's wasn't doing this but for the benefit of their employees but there is one piece of compelling evidence that I believe may confirm this suspicion and that is the new Sunday-Monday closing days only applies to the Shoals Rosies and NOT the Huntsville market which is certainly much more crowded and busy. At least a store manager that I ask, if it applied to the Huntsville stores, indicated that it was for this (Florence) store only.
The Huntsville location on University drive was closed this past Sunday.
I have heard repeatedly that Sunday after church diners do not tip, so yes I guess it would devalue the employees quality of life if they work the same and do not receive compensation.
Huntsville's Rosie's is closed on Sunday. I guess the Florence location is not doing a booming business so they added another closed day.
When I mentioned that the change did not apply to the Huntsville locations I only meant closing on Mondays as all locations closed on Sundays. The addition of Monday closing was only for the Florence store location.
I'm soooooo Sorry to the forum.
I can't for the life of me understand how I missed this and put this in the Religion forum. This should have been in the Food forum and not Religion but I can't change that now so I'll say I'm sorry to those, members of the forum, for my mistake. Maybe it was just early/late in the day and I didn't catch it but all this time later I realize it so there's my mea culpa.

I don't think it had any adverse affect on any lives. Of course there's always the chance a liberal Atheist might come along and say you tricked them into wandering into the Religion forum...and try to sue you. Liberals love to sue folks over the tiniest thing.
