Heub, Rotary park is where the fair is in Lawrenceburg. Go north on 43, pass the state troupers office, turn left at the large intersection, from there you can follow the smoke to find it.

Nothing will beat Memphis in May as far as BBQ with the exception of Jack Daniels BBQ competitions. If you go to JD's go early because the crowds and lines will get to large to tolerate. They do sell BBQ as does Memphis. I don't understand what you mean when you say don't go to a cook off if your hungry?
Would you please elaborate on why you did not like Lawrenceburgs? Did they not sell BBQ?
