It seems that Roy Moore, in some of the polls, has once again pulled ahead of Doug Jones in the Alabama Senate race.  It also seems that the typical non-Alabama media outlets, on both sides, are not giving it a rest either.  I, personally, think that the way that the liberal national press has prosecuted, convicted, and sentenced Roy Moore in the National Press has helped bring his numbers back in Alabama.

I'm sure if you were to hear from al Franken he would be on the bandwagon for Moore to be drummed out of the Senate and removed from the campaign except now he would most likely be a lot quieter now that he's fighting to stay in the Senate after the allegations against him.  He's a pig of a person and one of the greatest hypocrites the Democrats have.

Back to Roy Moore, regarding the  most damaging allegation against him which is the 14 year old's remarks I do believe they were politically timed to attempt to sink Roy Moore's campaign but I also believe there is a good chance that there is truth in both sides of the story.  This was apparently a very wild and troubled (at the time) teen that admittingly sought to fit in and sought to be with older boys/men at the time.  I fully believe that Roy Moore would not have pursued this girl had he known she was 14 at the time.  I also fully believe that the girl misled Roy Moore into believing that she was legal and consenting at the time.  The thing about the story that I find most unbelievable is that they were together two separate times, and that they were both undressed or partially there yet they did not have sexual contact.  I would think if Moore was a pervert or the person that the media is playing him out to be then he would have taken full advantage of the situation and forced himself on the girl and it would not have just been being touched and then leaving.

I believe in that story, of the girls, Roy Moore was interested in her but Roy Moore was led to believe she was old enough to make those decisions legally and of the age of consent.  I do believe Roy Moore was a man that was attracted to younger (legal) women.  One only has to look at many people of that generation and see that this was no uncommon thing and even Representative Conyers , one of the Democrats in Congress who is under suspicion, married a woman very much younger than he is/was.  It is not even uncommon among older, wealthy, women to go after much younger men yet with Moore this is to be disqualifying, Why?

The question comes down to did he know she was under age as in Moore being a pedophile and to that question I fully trust and believe he was and is not.  I believe his judgement, at that time in his life, may not have been the best about choosing the youngest of girls to go after but I fully believe he was careful and went after only those that were legally capable of making dating decisions.  I do not believe that Moore would have, in the position he was in, sought after girls below the age of consent and thus illegal and many men of his generation and even today, essentially do the same thing and are successful at it because of the extreme wealth they have and benefits that they can bestow upon girls who make the decision to  date them.   I also have no doubt that there are girls out there who lie about their age and who look older and are able to convince people of their lie.  Tracy Lords is one of the most famous that was revealed to have lied in order to work in the adult **** industry and was able to fool everyone else.

Again IF Moore though knew this girl was 14 ,at the time, and still pursued her or deliberately had any contact with her, then that would be a reason to eliminate him from the race and to keep him from holding that office.  I fear though if truth was known that far worse are occupying seats in Congress than the crime that Roy Moore is accused of.  It is still an accusation and while I do believe there is a measure of truth in it I do believe it's politically motivated, in it's timing, I do believe some of the accusations are not exactly what's alleged, and I do not believe Roy Moore would have done anything he knew to be illegal but I do believe he was a fan and  had his eye on young girls seeking to date them, but date them legally and for that I do not believe that is or should be disqualifying.  Pedophilia is disqualifying and illegal and those guilty of such should be removed from our society and put in prison and prosecuted protecting the young.   IF Moore is/was guilty of that then it shouldn't be the news media that the complaint is made to but rather the police but somehow I don't think that is what happened here.  I believe the girl was troubled, I believe she lied about her age and quite likely appeared older so as to be able to sell it.  I also believe that she went along willingly with (then) younger Roy Moore seeking to have an older boyfriend to brag about.  I do also feel that this is being blown out of proportion for political motivation in hopes to elect Doug Jones even though I don't know if Doug Jones has anything directly to do with it happening the way it is.

And that is why come December 12th, I will have no problem voting for Roy Moore and continue to believe he is innocent of what he's being charged of doing.  If though information or evidence comes forth between now and then that proves otherwise then I reserve the right to change my mind.

I think you are safe in your hopes as long as journalist, like those on MSNBC, who openly say they have never been to Alabama then follow it up with a generalization of every white Alabama male as being some inbred pedophile as they reported on the Moore story.  Anyone, not from Alabama, who didn't know better, would think similarly of the State, I'm sure.

I just hope, no matter how the election comes out, that Alabama can still retain the position as the uneducated redneck capital of the world.

I don't think we have that title. Too, I'd like to hear the name of ONE state or country that has the right to talk about Alabama or the USA. I'll vote for Moore for a few reasons. He's not a pedophile, and I don't believe the accusations. The left has outright lied, such as their lie about him being banned from a mall, the timing of the accusations, the fake year book signature, wapo latest attempt at making us believe a woman came to them with a false story about Moore and they "outted her". Maybe so, but it was wapo's fake story. Other reasons, jones is a weasel that upholds baby murder, he's a demoslop, enough reason not to vote for him, he's a liar, and makes me want to puke every time I see his troll face and his messed up nose, and voting for Moore will peeve off the demoslops. And the hypocrisy of the left that always figures into every issue.

Republicans have been the gift that keeps on giving, to the Democrats. They can't agree among themselves enough to pass any meaningful legislation. Now, they're wondering what the midterm elections will bring them.

Alabama Republican's battle cry 'better a pedophile than a Democrat'.  So much for those 'family values'.

Republican Roy Moore appears to have pulled back into a lead in Alabama’s special Senate election. Moore had lost ground in the polls after allegations of child molestation and sexual misconduct were leveled against him starting on Nov. 9. But three new polls out this week — from Change ResearchEmerson College and JMC Analytics — have Moore leading Democrat Doug Jones by 5 to 6 percentage points.

Latest Alabama Senate polls show Moore ahead

There has always been party politics and people that would only vote for candidates of one party but I don't remember there being a time that the two parties were so far apart and opposed to each other.  We have a congress where the Democrats as a block have decided to totally oppose ANYTHING that Trump and/or the Republicans do.  Years past when the Democrats held the majority they screamed and bellyhooed like crazy when Republicans voted to oppose them clambering how they were just obstructionist and how that was such a bad thing.   Now they are doing the exact same thing and yet you don't hear it mentioned in negative terms anymore.

Maybe its time that both parties started thinking about he people that elected them and not as much bout themselves.

T he Dems really don't care who voted Democrat as shown by
mobuma when he invited the entire population of S. America to
illegally invade our country for their slave votes.
It isn't the conservatives changing, it's the liberals sliding off the
map to the side dark. They showed their hand when it was no way
they would lose the election, they thought, the destruction promised
by Barack Hussein and HeldaThug was to finish it.

Once more, last time I reviewed the Forbes list of the richest Americans, Democrats were 8 of the top ten.  The other two were the Koch brothers -- libertarian Republicans and Never Trumpers.  We have met the enemy -- Demmies in polecat disguises.

I can't imagine how Trump got elected or how Conservatives are going to make it.  As you alluded to the BIG MONEY and the media is on the Democrats side and in their corner.  People like Soros and especially Bezos with their billions almost make it seem an impossibility to overcome their advantages yet Trump did, and of that I'm extremely glad.  As for the future and 2020 is where I'm concerned because I fear if the Democrats are successful in winning majorities in 2018 that the Impeach Trump move could just get enough votes to take over.

We're sure showing the rest of the country what Alabama has to offer. Jeff Sessions and Roy Moore. Let that sink in for a minute.

Regardless of the illegal votes, the more realistic Democrats
joined the responsible conservatives and together made
D J Trump POTUS. Let that sink in for a minute while you
witness more people than not like Roy Moore and Jeff Sessions
better than the liberal trash you ran. The country rejected the
move by mobumer/hilda to sell out our country, not the country
you want it to be, but our American country, sink into that for about
four years.

so how many years ago what all this stuff?  what has he done since?   how many stupid things have any of us done years ago?   how many over came alcoholism, drugs, or what ever?  how long has he been married?

The country is labeling Moore for over 30 years ago?   I guess I can't run for office, I am sure I did plenty of stupid stuff over 30 years ago.   Especially that someone can exaggerate on and I wouldn't be able to prove them wrong.

Bill Clinton did cocaine, raped and molested women, with accusations going back as far as when he was in England dodging the draft. He's been at it a lot longer than 30 years. He has never stopped his pervy ways. His good pal is a pedophile with an island where he takes his little girls. An island Bill Clinton visited and flew to on the "Lolita Express". Not to mention Monica and the other affairs, the shady money deals. Yet the left thumbed their noses at Clinton's victims and detractors and elected him twice, and tried to elect his enabler, supporter, partner in crime, Hillary.  Now, after all these years they come after Moore with accusations/lies? Why now? $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ that's why. Money and the desperate attempt to put a Democrat in office.

So, as long as a sexual assault happened long enough ago, it's no big deal?

I'm sure 10 women got together and said 'you know what would be fun? Lets attack Roy Moore.' There's no defense for a pedophile to be elected to the US Senate.

Not to say Republicans don't have their share but you do realize that IF the accusations against Roy Moore are legit and real that these happened during and while Roy Moore was a Democrat?   Al Franken has admitted to his conduct (had to account of pictures) yet refuses to leave the senate yet insist that Moore should leave the race and that there is no room in the senate for him.  How do you feel about that?  What should happen to Franken?  Should you not feel the exact same way about Franken as you do Moore?

Well, lets see... Franken supported his own ethics investigation, apologized, and perhaps will resign.

Moore denies the allegations, threatens the women, has stories still coming out that he continues to deny. Moore's allegations include children/minors. People who know Moore back these women and corroborate their stories.

Democrats openly criticize Franken as well as every other Democrat who's been accused or admitted the attacks.

Republicans openly back Moore and call his accusers liars. 10 women and the people of Moore's home town back the women.

Backing a pedophile for senate sure does fall in line with those great christian/family values.

Another woman says Franken tried to forcibly kiss her

The Minnesota senator is accused of making an unwanted sexual advance after a taping of his radio show in 2006. He denies the allegation.

No Senate Democrats have called on Franken to resign, though a smattering of House Democrats have done so.

A "smattering".

Franken guilty by way of physical evidence, Moore not guilty
of claims or hear say evidence, let that sink in for more than minute..

Republicans will go to any lengths to back Roy Moore, including lie, as witnessed in the two posts above. Republicans can stop using 'family values' in their statements. They couldn't care less about family values. Also, "pro-life' is a joke. Republicans are 'pro-birth', after that, you're a freeloader until you have a job.

GOP = Groping Old Perverts
