San Francisco city officials are trying to force taxpayers to pay for immigrants' green cards and citizenship – and to bolster their case for the new tax, they've introduced a resolution condemning national radio talk-show host Michael Savage for what they call his "defamatory language ... against immigrants."

Condemning the "defamatory language used by radio personality Michael Savage against immigrants," Sandoval's resolution is apparently in response to Savage's July 5 broadcast, when the talker commented on a group of students who had announced they were fasting in support of changes in immigration policy.
"I would say, let them fast until they starve to death," quipped Savage, "then that solves the problem."

Unless we step up the pressure on the traitors that most of you probably voted for to run this country we will see more of this. This issue needs to be at the forefront of the 2008 election along with revamping social security.

I like Michel Savage and have a couple of his books.

Do you not see conspiricys in this Country? Our country is just a larger scale of the crooked stuff that goes on here. There are too many conspiricys to count. If you sit and watch news and they look right in the camera and tell one thing one day something the next and a different story days later about the same subject then there is either conspiricy or there is experts out there that knows how to handle the minds of citizens. Appears to be working to. I amnot a leftist I voted for Bush the only two times I have been old enough to vote presidential but yet I can think for myself and see all the inconsistancies going on every where and just in our area alone. Then in other areas and it is growing like cancer. Stock market alone tells its own tale. It is the best in history then it is almost the worst. Until we are told the truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth by the leaders then there is always a possibility of them manipulating us all. I think the only thing they do during sessions is take a class called manipulation 101.

Its O.K. The first step in recovery is admitting that your have a problem. You were not the only person who voted for bush and now sees the truth.

lol i think of it as a very big learning experience! but what i was talking about is all the stories and tales being told every which way it can be told on any given day. I hate the manipulation it seems like I am being violated every time they do that in the media.

Get in line people, Savage is the first of MANY of our elected officials that are getting ready to let us down. By the way make sure you have your KY jelly handy, you WILL need it before all this "ILLEGAL" mess is taken care of, once and for all.

Looks like our officials are going to shove it down our throats though, one State at a time.

In the end, we may even WANT to donate a bedroom for an entire family of them???

I hope that before too long we ALL have a problem with this.

I don't care what SF does, most all of the time, but when they are setting precedents for all the other states FOR the illegals then we are all in for a rocky and VERY expensive ride!!!

Savage is a radio talk show host not am elected official . He is against current illegal alien situation we are in.

I just read the entire story, even the part down below all the ad's that I didn't see before. Thank you for sending me back there Smiler

But what I said in my comments, even though I was wrong about Savage is still correct in the way things are going on in our Country.

We are being acclimated and there is still enough time to complete that little project. Before this next year is out, all of us will be "used" to seeing and hearing so much about it that we will just "ACCEPT" it and go on. It will be a very expensive mistake too!!!

I may have been wrong about "Savage" but I am dead right about the illegals and how they are going to be FORCED down our throats before all is said and done.

Sorry I misunderstood the first part of that article, and thank you for showing me there was more down below!!!

I agree with you KS.

It's going to be every man for him self before to long. Our failed government is a ticking time bomb that is hell bent on destroying America and making the USA a 3rd world country.

Between the Asian invasion, the Cuban crime wave, and the criminal aliens from south of the border we are doomed as far as being the great nation or forefathers built.

When is the last time the TV has shown an American flag on TV during an NCAA football game?

I couldn't agree more!!! Well said, very true too!!! It seems like a bleak future for us. We will be paying for these last five years with our Pride, our Blood, our Tears, and our integrity as a Country before it is all said and done.

I just hate leaving this sort of legacy to our kids, grandkids and great grand kids and maybe even further than that, ya know?

I was watching a news show the other night, can't remember which one, but it was a story about a businessman in Miami. Seems he had been renting a store from a man for seven years. The owner informed him that he needed to move and would not renew his lease because he (leasor) wanted his small strip mall to cater to the hispanic people and he (leasee) did not speak spanish. The other people who leased from the owner in the strip mall were either hispanic or were fluent in Spanish. This story is unreal. I don't have a problem with the owner leasing to legal hispanics but to make the Americans a minority is just wrong.

Savage is just that...a radio talk show host. Supervisor Sandoval is not known for making news for "radical" resolutions, etc... Supervisor Chris Daly is the one who is known to put on a "show".

I won't argue about the illegal immigration but San Francisco has always had that policy and the policy of city agencies/SFPD, etc... will not help raids on pot clubs. The citizens of San Francisco have voted in favor of these things and the elected officials will uphold them.

I don't think we have to be afraid of anything San Francisco does coming here in a year or 10 years. If that was the case, things would be much different in many areas.
