These goobers are TRUE BELIEVERS! Will any of you nominate this for a Grammy?

Your hatred for that woman is disturbing.

Tell me Stuck, is it possible for anyone to have serious and sincere negative opinions of Sarah Palin or anyone else without being accused of hatred by you or some other dull, unimaginative knee-jerk throwback? Can there be any such thing as criticism without hatred? And if so, why are you so presumptuous as to believe that you can see into my heart and soul and decide whether my negative opinion is or is not hatred? Did being such a contemptibly arrogant person come naturally to you or did you have to work at it?

I fully understand and accept what you have stated. I know well what it is to be accused of hatred simply on the basis that I have said or written something critical of a person's politics or actions. It happens on this forum all the time!

Indeed it does and the transference of hatred from the post to the poster is a very unnerving occurrence.

On this forum, for loose-cannon ideologues like you, "fixation" has come to be definable as the posting more than once of negative information or commentary about someone--such as the regrettable Ms. Palin--for whom the said loose-cannon ideologue entertains a contrasting opinion.

It is a cheap and facile way to deflect attention from the issue under discussion. Just color the other person's opinion as "fixation" and that somehow absolves you of any obligation to address the issue with substance and intelligence.

You have yet to address your "Palin fixation" with substance or intelligence. Your vain attempts have been nothing more than cute slogans attacking her name or education. All you can do with your fancy words are attack the messenger because you are afraid of the message. As a messenger to you I am now prepared for your attacks on my intelligence, or lack thereof.

Wow, nerve touched! Understandable since you have such a lot of nerve. Wink "More than once?" My, but is that EVER an understatement! You would be funny if you weren't so pathetic. Not certain I would vote for Governor Palin, however she terrifies the left. They only go after those they are truly frightened of with extreme hatred.

For Palin, I would suggest the advice of Emperor Napoleon and, later General Patton, "L'audace, l'audace, toujours l'audace" -- audacity, audacity, always audacity! At the minimum, she'll pizz them off, or continue to frighten them so bad they'll soil themselves! Its fun and she's getting paid for it.

WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!What you are programmed to believe, that she is feared, is in actuality mocked! Have you caught SNL, Comedy Central or any of the other so called "lame" stream media late night show skits on Sarah Palin. She is the best thing for comedy since George W. Bush. And the most comedic position of all: is Republicans ACTUALLY think that those who do not admire her FEAR her. WE ARE LAUGHING TOO HARD!!!!!!!!!!! Big Grin
Why do people still call her 'Governor' Palin? Isn't she a quitter? Didn't she waste a bunch of Alaskans' tax money by quitting in mid-stream?

She needs to stick with reality TV where she fits in with the likes of Jon and Kate and Snookie. I hope she's on the next Rock of Love Bus Tour. Or maybe The Apprentice. I wonder if she'd quit before Trump fired her.

She is called Governor as an honorific. The same reason previous presidents are addressed as president and retired military officers by their past ranks. Your education must be lacking -- late public school, I assume.

Governor Palin was hit with about 25 false accusations while governor. Under Alaskan state law, all the accusations had to be investigated. They caused her administration to stall to a near stop and nearly bankrupted her. She could not, under law, sue for false witness. It was a planned campaign, vicious and nasty, like the left. If you didn't know this, you are poor informed and must have no impetus to learn. If you did know this, you are to be pitied, Captain Oblivious.

Captain, you must realize that ALL posts on this forum become personal with attacks. As for elitventor, he considers himself a right wing intellectual, let me get a little personal Big Grin, but in actuality is a parrot of everything he is told on the right wing blog such as red state.
Many of the 25 accusations were proved NOT to be false, a few were even proven and fines against Palin assessed and since elintorventor is the one who requires PROVENANCE for any statement which DOES NOT support whatever right wing view HE is espousing, give me a minute and I will be back. I really need to start cataloging these replies, I have covered this in an earlier rebuttal.

"Gov. Sarah Palin Quietly Cleared of All Ethics Charges
Monday, 08 Jun 2009 09:22 AM Article Font Size
By Amanda Carpenter, The Washington Times

The accusations made news, but with another dismissal of an ethics charge last week against Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, the former Republican vice-presidential nominee has quietly been cleared of every ethics complaint filed since the torrent of allegations began in 2008."

More at:

http://www.newsmax.com/InsideC...2009/06/08/id/330768

Don't like to reference Wiki, but they had a good synopsis.

"On July 3, 2009, Palin announced that she would not run for re-election in the 2010 Alaska gubernatorial election and would resign before the end of July. In her announcement,[188] Palin stated that both she and the state had been expending an "insane" amount of time and money ($2.5 million)[189] to address "frivolous" ethics complaints filed against her,[189][190][191][188] and that her decision not to seek reelection would make her a lame duck governor.[188] A Palin aide said Palin was "no longer able to do the job she had been elected to do. Essentially, the taxpayers were paying for Sarah to go to work every day and defend herself."[192] Palin and her husband Todd had personally incurred more than $500,000 in legal fees defending against ethics charges brought against her as governor.[189] Palin transferred the office of governor to Sean Parnell in Fairbanks on July 26, 2009."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sarah_Palin

She did return $390,000 from her defense fund, as it was not described correctly on its website. A defense fund she wouldn't have needed, if not falsely charged.

This is some of the nastier tactics of the left -- relentless accusations, attempts to destroy an opponent they fear. I've seen it too many times.

Why shouldn't he? You present yourself with the mental maturity of a twelve year-old.

Just how many times is that marksw59 that you have attacked my intelligence or maturity level?
I wonder if your "likeable liberal" O No! has ever reported it! How many times have I called you an ignorant redneck with no sense of humor who seems to have homophobic tendencies or a fascination with homosexual references? I think in the later part, that makes 2 but one was in a post concerning Don't Ask, Don't Tell. And you and the thug gang got all "can't we get along" for about 15 minutes??????? Hypocrites bordering on delusional.

First, what are you blathering about? Second, How about the number of times you have childishly deployed the "TEABAGGER" epithet? Any you say *I* have the fascination with homosexual references... I think that is referred to as projection... Wink

UPDATE!! I went back and reread my posts in the "Don't ask, don't tell, don't care" thread. So I guess you're referring to my smartass comment about 'flamboyant applause' and remembering the 'darling' Bradley Manning (I'm sure beternone thinks he's a hero). Don't you recognize humor and satire? That's what most of your "fellow travelers" would claim in a reversed situation, so who's the humorless one now, "rocky". Wink

I mean after this quote from Sarah Palin:"those on the left, if it wasn't for their double standards, they would have no standards" on her interview with Sean Hannity, NO wonder you have the responses from the far right wingers that you do.
She is calling HALF the country, immoral!
She is funny, and I have had a lot of good laughs over her antics,
But the problem is as evidenced by responses from those who follow her on one of her plethera of media outlets is:
Her rhetoric is dangerous, for ALL America.
I guess you are right Elitorventor, she IS scary!

marksw59, the term teabagger was first coined by the original members of the movement. And I don't know whether to file this under hypocrisy or opportunism, but using this term is a JOKE! Do you have SELECTIVE humor???? Confused

Thank you for proving my point that stated, "Don't you recognize humor and satire? That's what most of your "fellow travelers" would claim in a reversed situation,..."

Further, I wasn't referring to the epithet, just your childish use of it. Even a good joke is only funny a couple of times. Only children, those in a chemically altered mental state, and the developmentally challenged find such things humorous time after time after time ad nauseam.
