I saw clips of it on the morning news. She did quite well. Actually, her timing was pretty good. The audience, responded well to her. Let the hatchet jobs begin.
I thought she did a great job imitating a comedian. Obama tries on ocassion but he does comedy about as well as he does presidential, not very good.
She had great confidence delivering the jokes. For most comedians that takes time to develop.
Seems to me she has quite a lot of experience with comedy.... like the answer to the question ...What news papers or magazines do you read?....Maybe it's just me but I thought that was hilarious....As is the notion that this person is going to be running the western world.LOL.....This all just points out the stupidity of the "beauty contest" we call our Electoral Process.

I did not see it, and am not in the least bothered by that. Palin's trivial nutterances on the Tonight Show have nothing to do with much of anything. She is however, dangerous when she is barfing out such nonsense as her infamous "death panel" twaddle, which, although totally false and nutty, is sucked up as though it were gospel by her naive, ignorant and befuddled fan club. May their tribe decrease.
You know I think Sara is probably a real neat person ,a kinda' guy chick, some body that would be nice to hang out with ,hunt with,talk sports with,...I think hunting , fishing,and other things that end in ing would be marvelous fun with Mrs. Palin...But if I was a woman I would be Incensed that everyone thinks she is qualified to hold one of the prestigious job in our government....Press secretary yes ...President or Vice NOOO!...There are thousands of super intelligent women out there who are light years ahead of her in experience and education ...I mean really a Nice ass and a smile with the education of a sports caster just doesn't cut it ...does it ?

And Obama has a couple of years in the Senate but was so qualified? How is that working out for ya? I'm a Romney guy but I see what you guys will do to a black or a woman if they step off the plantation.

Correction if you do not mind: Obama served an amazing 143 DAYS OF ACTIVE PARTICIPATION in the Senate -- and the rest of his term he spent campaigning for his new job.
On the other hand, Palin served as a City Council Member, as a Mayor, and as a Governor. To win her Governor's office -- she beat out an incumbent. And, I would say that her constituents in Alaska seem, overall, to be very happy with her performance in these jobs.
Before he conned his way into the White House, Obama has not served in any position where HE had to make ANY serious decisions alone.
Obama reminds me of the country boy who went away to the big city. He wrote home to mom, "Yestiddy, I cudn't spel injineer -- and, today, I are one!" You see, he got a job as a sanitary engineer. Do you think we should recommend Obama to fill country boy's job when country boy moves up?
"Yestiddy, I cudn't reed a teleprompter -- now, look at me, ma!'
Yes, America would be much better off with Sarah Palin in the White House. At least the view would be much nicer. And, we might get some serious legislation passed instead of working 24/7 toward turning America into the United Socialist Society of America!

What difference does it make, katie Couric, which newspapers or magazines a person reads? If Sarah Palin had responded, "None. I think they're mostly biased and choose not to support them," what would you have to say? I don't think mainstream media ever gave her a chance. It seems the liberals were/are deathly afraid of her, since they take every opportunity to say she's not qualified. She has MORE leadership experience than the current POTUS. FACT.

The words "death panel" not appearing in the document doesn't mean provisions weren't made for something VERY similar to a death panel. They made provisions for abortion, calling it family planning, among other things. The bill is bad. Nobama obviously knows that it's bad, or he wouldn't have tried to push it through before anyone had a chance to read it. 1 out of every 10 Republicans in Congress is a doctor. Do you think this could be a good reason why Republicans aren't for the current health care reform?
Oh! good points one and all...let's see now being the mayor and city council person of a town about the size of Hamilton Alabama and serving an unfinished term as Governor of a state that has more caribou than people trumps U.S. Senator from Illinois (12,000,000 + people)

It depends on what they are experienced in and what type of person they are on this side of that experience. It seems to me experience makes them better liars, but not better leaders.

By the first example I mean...understands middle America..special needs child, teen pregnancy issues, kid in Iraq..etc. Relates and understands families and their struggles.
