GREATEST HILLARY / HUMA EMAIL EXCHANGE EVER

*************************************************************

This email exchange between Hillary Clinton and her best friend Huma Abedin is entertaining on several levels. It dates from July 2011, and I assume it comes from the emails on Hillary’s secret server that were dribbled out in response to various requests. I don’t know why the exchange wasn’t noticed earlier, but apparently Alex Griswold of the Free Beacon discovered and Tweeted it. I believe the occasion was Betty Ford’s funeral.

Here are the emails:

In case the print is small, here are Huma and Hillary, in chronological order:

Huma: Looks like plane won’t be an issue.
We got message that family is very inclusive and if you wanted to speak at the service, they would welcome it.
Also, looks like michelle obama also going.

Hillary: I’d be honored to speak. Is it ok that we and Mrs. O take two separate planes?

Huma: I think its ok. But let me see what kind of plane she’s taking.

Hillary: I would rather have our own of course.

This is via InstaPundit, where Glenn notes the climate angle, given today’s news about the Paris agreement:

I’LL BELIEVE THERE’S A CLIMATE CRISIS WHEN THE PEOPLE WHO KEEP TELLING ME THERE’S A CLIMATE CRISIS START ACTING LIKE THERE’S A CLIMATE CRISIS:

Fair enough. But there is so much more! The Democrats can’t figure out why working class voters no longer identify with them. Maybe the sense of entitlement to separate airplanes expressed by Mrs. Clinton provides a clue. Of course, neither Hillary nor Michelle Obama paid for her own trip; both airplanes (assuming two were taken) were at taxpayer expense. But worrying about that sort of thing is for the little people.

Then there’s this: it has long been reported that the Obamas and the Clintons can’t stand one another. The fact that Hillary prefers not even to ride on the same airplane with Michelle O. can be taken as confirmation that warm feelings are lacking.

After the last election, I assumed we wouldn’t have Hillary to kick around anymore. But now, I am starting to hope that her threats to run in 2020 are for real!

Remember Gore and his " carbon footprints"?

Back home in Tennessee, safely ensconced in his suburban Nashville home, Vice President Al Gore is no doubt basking in the Oscar awarded to "An Inconvenient Truth," the documentary he inspired and in which he starred. But a local free-market think tank is trying to make that very home emblematic of what it deems Gore's environmental hypocrisy.

Armed with Gore's utility bills for the last two years, the Tennessee Center for Policy Research charged Monday that the gas and electric bills for the former vice president's 20-room home and pool house devoured nearly 221,000 kilowatt-hours in 2006, more than 20 times the national average of 10,656 kilowatt-hours.

"If this were any other person with $30,000-a-year in utility bills, I wouldn't care," says the Center's 27-year-old president, Drew Johnson. "But he tells other people how to live and he's not following his own rules."
