Falsifying data to ensure the grant money keeps flowing -- guess its the new Chi-town way.

In more Chicken Little News:

"Pres. Obama warns "hurricane intensity" will increase due to global warming, even as the U.S. is in the midst of a record hurricane hiatus and there's been no global warming in the past 17 years.

Obama said global warming would also "make storms more costly" in proclaiming this week (May 25-31) National Hurricane Preparedness Week:

"As the climate continues to warm, hurricane intensity and rainfall are projected to increase, and we expect sea level rise to make storm surges more costly. That is why, last year, I issued an Executive Order directing the Federal Governmentto take coordinated action to prepare our Nation for the impacts of climate change."

"But, today, the Washington Post reported that it's been more than eight years since the last major hurricane landfall in the U.S.:

"Such a streak, or "drought", is unprecedented going back to 1900.  As of the start of this hurricane season, the span will be 3,142 days since the last U.S. major hurricane landfall.  The previous longest span is about 2½ years shorter!"

And, as Climate Depot reports, 2013 marked the 17th straight year without warming of the planet:

"According to the RSS satellite data, whose value for April 2014 is just in, the global warming trend in the 17 years 9 months since August 1996 is zero. The 212 months without global warming represents more than half the 423-month satellite data record, which began in January 1979. No one now in high school has lived through global warming." "

Surely you can't be that obtuse.  Global use of fossil fuels is increasing, regardless of what is happening in the US.  China has about double the CO2 output of the US by itself.  Even if we reduced our CO2 output by 50%, that would only reduce the Global CO2 output by a whopping 7%.

What in the world do CFC's have to do with CO2 output or global warming for that matter?  Talk about a low information noodle head.  Your mama must be proud of the ignorant little runt she raised.

In other news, increased use of Rogain has resulted in less men experiencing hair loss, therefore, global warming must be real.  Only in the small mind of a lib.

kinda old news. "Actually" China has now decided to go all out on renewable sources, and has and will be cutting the use of coal.

Fortunately for China, their government is not owned by the Koch Brothers.

In 2012 Germany had one third of the world's solar panels, and at one point these panels generated over half of Germany's electricity demand. This is how things are normally put. But it as rather like talking about a third rate golfer and only referring to the time he almost won the US Masters. Yes, Germany got 50% of its electricity from solar one afternoon. Throughout the year it only produced 5%. The 5% is what really matters. The 50% gets all the headlines.

And solar is an awful source of energy in a country as cloudy and as far north as Germany. Electricity has to be available when we want it. Germans, like many Europeans, most want the stuff around 6 pm on a cold Winter evening. This is an incredibly reliable peak in demand. Yet, the electricity supplied by Germany's solar panels at 6 pm on a cold December is also incredibly reliable: zero.

I'm glad the Indians and Chinese are embracing solar power, we might get some of our factories back. That is if American voters can grow a brain. As to China and renewable energy, at least they built a big-ass dam.

They doctor the results to further their agenda.  http://www.forbes.com/sites/ja...-a-record-this-year/

While it is a book of fiction read Michael Crichton's State of Fear and you will see parallels to what is happening.   The findings of the computer modeling of the global warming and dire warnings of extreme weather from the global warming proclaimers simply are not accurate often off by 300%.  not exactly science. NASA would have landed the mars rover on Pluto with that kind of variation.

Depletion of the ozone layer is not a mechanism for global warming.   I don't expect joe dirt to understand that though.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Germany's cost for electricity is 2.5 to 3 times that of the US in part because of developing green energy.  Now, they are falling back on lignite (brown coal) they used for most of the last century. They are the third best US customer for coal exports.

That is a good book.  While the plot of the book was fiction, most of the claims regarding the current state of the planet were based on fact; with references to boot.  This book was disputed after its release in 2004 by global warming "scientists".  Crichton claimed in the book that the mean global temp is actually lowering.  Looks like the "scientists" owe him an apology, posthumously.

Best part was when the liberal movie star met the cannibals.

Come on now you really claim to know exactly how cold or warm you felt 30 years ago and believe that over actual numbers?

He's not accounting for the extra insulation he's added over the last thirty years.  The extra padding acts like a greenhouse by trapping heat within the body.  It also raises the brain's temperature causing one to be more gullible and unable to distinguish fact from fiction.  Doctors have named this condition "chickenlittleism".  The only cure is to stop consuming liberal lies.

Yo 'stanky....

I find it incredibly difficult to believe.....that out of millions of sperm....that *you* were the fastest?

From the Wiki article on CFCs:

Environmental impacts

As previously discussed, CFCs were phased out via the Montreal Protocol due to their part in ozone depletion. However, the atmospheric impacts of CFCs are not limited to its role as an active ozone reducer. This anthropogenic compound is also a greenhouse gas, with a much higher potential to enhance the greenhouse effect than CO2.

Infrared absorption bands trap heat from escaping earth's atmosphere. In the case of CFCs, the strongest of these bands are located in the spectral region 7.8–15.3 µm [18] – referred to as an atmospheric window due to the relative transparency of the atmosphere within this region.[19] The strength of CFC bands and the unique susceptibility of the atmosphere, at which the compound absorbs and emits radiation, are two factors that contribute to CFCs' "super" greenhouse effect.[20] Another such factor is the low concentration of the compound. Because CO2 is close to saturation with high concentrations, it takes more of the substance to enhance the greenhouse effect. Conversely, the low concentration of CFCs allow their effects to increase linearly with mass.

Awww, how sweet, the mullet boy posted a pic of his dad.  Is this a late fathers day tribute.  I can definitely see a striking resemblance.  Ugly is obviously genetic.

The chicken littles are doing their best to reason away why we aren't warming anymore out of embarrassment of their gullibleness.  The impact of CFC's is slight at best.

Here are a few more sources for you to think over and scratch your mullet with:
