It looks to me that the trip may be safer now that some of the "illegals" have left. Kidnap capital of the US. Thanks to the illegals.

Is our Gov trying to see how fast they can destroy this nation ? Kick em all out

This is the same school that ok'd a trip to China. If I had a child in that school they wouldn't be there next year.

China is a safe place if you're a tourist. If you're a citizen, not so much.

We shouldn't have anything to do with China at all, except to pressure them on human rights. But we're greedy.

The kid probably has a student ID or a driver's license. If, she has a consular matricula card, then its the next bus to Mexico. Next, faux argument.

Also, shouldn't be gestapo, rather than gendarmes! The proper pronunciation would be something like, "Achtung! Zie paperien, bitte."

This team earned this trip and deserve to go, instead, they are political pawns. The lesson will be long remembered and will give these young people a different political perspective.

Several players have been interviewed and they still want to attend and participate.

Tucson, AZ, has offered to pay all expenses for these young people to make the trip they earned. I really hope someone decides to do the right thing here and stop playing politics with students lives.
