Libby was convicted by a Republican-appointed Prosecutor, a Republican-appointed Judge, and a bi-partisan jury. It's really sad that he took the bullet for Cheney and Rove! I think Bush should pardon him soon, since Bush has already destroyed the GOP and it is in shreds, and there will be no political recupersions for his granting a pardon. By the way, does anybody think a grown man entering prison should drop the name, "Scooter?"
I hope he serves his entire sentence but I'm sure it was all well planned out in advance -- Bush and Cheney agreed with him that if Scooter took the rap that he would be taken care of.

It really irked me to hear former prosecutor Rudy Guliani saying that Libby's sentence was not appropriate, something about there was no underlying crime committed. The man was convicted of obstruction of justice. Just like Martha Stewart.

The only question is WHEN Bush will pardon him. My guess is he will do it on the last day of his presidency.

And he should NOT be, Snake... but he got 30 months... let's just SEE how many he serves... and how much he is rewarded for taking the fall afterwards... actually, if we REALLY knew, we would probably all be sick.
