Bowl season is here and as always, quite a few SEC teams get one more game in for the year. Post your picks!

Music City Bowl

Mississippi State vs Wake Forest - Everyone thought that the Demon Deacons (whatever that is) would give Vanderbilt a tough game. Instead, they got drilled. Bulldogs aren't the best in the SEC, but I think they're better than Vandy. State played and was competitive with a much harder schedule. This one will be a lopsided victory. Bulldogs 47 - 3

Liberty Bowl

Vanderbilt vs Cincinnati -  Bearcats are 9-3 for the season, which may sound impressive at first. However, they lost to probably the worst team in the SEC this year, Tennessee. It wasn't even close. Vanderbilt also lost to UT, but barely. Commode Doors have a good team, but somehow they always find a way to lose. This one is tough, but I'll have to go with SEC dominance. Commodores 38 - 31

Outback Bowl

Georgia vs Michigan State - For a while, everyone thought the Bulldogs were going to make the BCS complicated and take down #1 LSU. They couldn't hold on in the second half, but proved that they aren't the pushovers they appeared to be at the start of the season. Spartans are ranked higher and have played a challenging schedule, but I'm just not sure about them. This will probably be another close game, I think Richt will get the win and save his job. Bulldogs 33 - 21

Capital One Bowl

South Carolina vs Nebraska - Gamechickens have a good team, only two losses to SEC foes this year. Navy gave them a good run, but other non-conference games weren't much competition. Nebraska took down Michigan State this year and only lost three games. However, other than the Spartans their wins aren't very impressive. Chickens eat corn. Gamec-cks 38 -17

Cotton Bowl

Arkansas vs Kansas State - Razorbacks are third in the SEC west. Their only two losses, Alabama and LSU. It's easy to see that they are a tough team to beat. Wildcats are ranked 11, but their two losses are against Oklahoma and Oklahoma State. This one could be tough to call since the Razorbacks can win, but can under perform at times. Razorbacks 17 - 13

Gator Bowl

Florida vs Ohio State - For whatever reason, the sports media has always been fascinated by Ohio State. I don't think the Buckeyes are that impressive and when facing SEC teams, they usually fall flat. Gators have struggled through a tough year, barely getting a bowl invite and getting beat by Florida State. Buckeyes are also 6-6, but I'm not impressed by their schedule. This one could go either way, but I'll take the safe bet. Gators 28 - 14

Chic-fil-A Bowl

Auburn vs Virginia - Cavaliers play some good teams and finished with a decent record. However, Virginia State shut them out pretty easily. Tigers have not been the best this year, getting embarrassed in the Iron Bowl. I think this will be a defensive battle since both offenses tend to be unpredictable. Tigers 24 - 20

BCS Championship

Alabama vs LSU - The re-match! Bama beat themselves by leaving points on the field the last time these two teams met. Tigers have been killing everyone, except the Tide. This game is going to be a brutal smash mouth fist fight. The key to beating each team is stopping their high powered offenses. This will be a low scoring game with huge breaking plays on both sides of the ball. It's going to be a grind, but I think the Tide will refuse to lose again. Crimson Tide 16 - 13

MSU 31 Wake Forest 14 Bulldogs should handle the Deacs with ease.

Vandy 35 Cinncinati 28 I think this could be a good matchup. Both teams can put up points. Coomodores happier to be bowling would be my guess.

Auburn 24 UVA 21 Another trip to the Chicken Bowl. AU should use the bowl season as advance spring ball and give Frazier the first team reps. Virginia has improved a lot with London as coach.

UGA 31 Mich. State 10 UGA is too big, too fast and too talented for Sparty to handle.

USCe 27 Nebraska 24 Good matchup of good defenses and better running than throwing QBs. Ole ball coach pulls it out in the 4th.

Ohio State 20 UF 17 I think Ohio State might be more motivated. Haven't been impressed at all with the Gators down the stretch.

Arkansas 38 K State 28 Arkansas will scorch the Wildcat secondary all day long. Hawg defense will do just enough.

LSU 17 Alabama 14 This one could go either way. I just have a feeling that Lucky Les and the Honey Badger will find a way to eek out a win. It should be a fantastic game.

Another season has come and gone, and once again I have enjoyed making my picks and seeing the picks of others. Being the SEC homer I am, these are my picks.

Bulldogs 35 Wake Forest 10

The bulldogs should have little trouble taking out the Deacons in Nashville. Mullen did not have the season he had hoped for but I still think he is a good coach who will do good things in Starkville if he will hang around for awhile.

Vandy 30 Cinncy 27

If I could have had a vote for SEC coach of the year, Franklin would have my vote. He did a great job in a very short time to work with, in turning the Dores fortunes around. If he continues to recruit and coach at his current pace, he won't be in Nashville much longer.

Dawgs 24 Mich St. 17

This should be a good hard fought game that Geargia should pull out. With the exception of the championship game, the dawgs were on a roll at the end of the season. It would be hard to find a dawg fan to admit to wanting Saint Mark fired after the dawgs turned their season around. His job is safe for now, but if they falter next season, he will probablly be gone.

Gamecoxs 17 Huskers 10

Another close game that should be good to watch. One has to wonder what could have been, if Lattimore stayed healthy and there had been no qb problems.

Pigs 45 K. State 35

I feel like this will be a high scoring game, and the cats will not be able to keep up. State has pulled some suprises this year and could well put a scare into the hogs, but if Arky plays like they are capable, they should win.

Florida 24 Bucknuts 21

This should be one big grudge match. Both schools hate the other, especially since Urbans found him a new home. Florida has underachieved big time this year and it would not be that big of a suprise if Ohio St won this game. Mushchamp better turn it around next season or he could be the next Ron Zook.

Auburn 35 Virginia 28

It was not the best of years for the defending champions, but under the circumstances the tigers exceeded expectations. Virginia can be a scary team, who has a great up and coming coach. Look for Auburn to pull it out in the forth quarter.

Alabama 24 LSU 10

Spin it any way you want, but Bama left a lot of points on the field in the last game.LSU has a great team and could easily win this game, but I feel Bama will come to play and not make the mistakes that cost the the last game.

Ole Miss

The powers to be in Oxford made the right moves in showing Nutt and Boone the door. The hiring of Freeze was questionable, mainly for me because I have not heard much about him. For Ole Miss's sake I hope he works out.

Tennessee

There is no reason for the vawls not to be competitive year in and year out. If Dooley has another lackluster year he wil start to feel the heat big time.

Kentucky

Simply one of the worst teams in SEC history. How the vawls lost to them is absolutely amazing. Joker Phillips is a joke, and would be smart to update his resume before the end of next season.
