My apologies for a sloppy post last week. Life has been pretty crazy and I was in a hurry. Today, I'll make up for it.
Thanks for posting your picks!
Vanderbilt @ Florida - Somehow, both of these teams are 4-4 overall and both have a losing conference record. I think this will actually be a great game to watch. Vandy has lost some heart-breakers to Florida, so this might be their shot for revenge. However, we're still talking about the Commode Doors here. I predict the Black & Gold faithful will be crying in their martinis on their private jets as they head back to West End. Gators 28 - 24
Mississippi @ Kentucky - One of these teams will get their first conference win of the season. Since we're in week 10, that means they both suck. This is a game to see who sucks less and who's coach gets fired first. Might be an interesting game since both teams will make lots of mistakes. Wildcats 21 - 13
South Carolina @ Arkansas - Game chickens are on the top of the SEC East, but barely. Since Georgia has a non conference game this week, a win will help them stay on top. Their goal is to make it to the Conference Championship game. No hope of winning it, but it's better than nothing. Razorbacks have a great team, but unfortunately they are in the West with Bama and LSU. This one is a toss up for me. Razorbacks 35 - 20
New Mexico St @ Georgia - Really? Who cares. Bulldogs 41 - 10
Middle Tennessee @ Tennessee - For Vawls fans, this is a cupcake game. For us Blue Raider fans, this is an opportunity to gain some respect in our home state. We've beat Memphis. We've beat Vanderbilt. To beat UT would be huge. MT is the largest undergrad school in the state. We want to expand with medical and legal programs, but the school to the east won't let that happen. This is a David vs Goliath game for sure. I'm going against the odds and with my Alma Mater. Blue Raiders 24 - 21
UT Martin @ Mississippi St - One more time. Really? Who cares. Bulldogs 38 - 0
LSU @ Alabama - Biggest game in the country this week (Unless you're a Blue Raider fan). Two perfect records. Two legitimate National Championship contenders. Two of the best teams in the country. When the unstoppable force meets the immovable object, which one will give? Easy, the one not wearing Crimson. Bama will get in a hole in the first half of the game, but will fight their way out in the second half. Tide 31 - 28
