Trump was far more intelligent and wise than his critics ever gave him credit for. The Democrats just knew they had him and his Administration over a barrel with the Russian connection and trying to create something out of nothing but Trump in his tweet about Obama and spying on him and with the wiretaps Trump just circumvented all the Russian talk because now the Democrats stand to have revelations about their own activities revealed and presented to the public.
It's possible that now the Democrats will be revealed to have been doing something illegal and now many, in high, Democrat, places, want to let the story die. Anyone with any sense can realize what the Democrats was trying to do and you can just see Obama and his team leading the efforts to try and delegitimize Trumps election win.
Here is the problem though. No evidence is there, there is no way that the Russians could actually get into the election process where the votes are counted and could not have affected the election results. Democrats are just very upset that Podesta's emails was revealed and revealed for all to see showing a lot of devious thing that the Democrats were doing. This, though, wasn't due to Russian hacking but was due to Podesta using such a simple password that anyone could have guessed it. I mean using "password" as your password? Anyway that aside Hillary's own dealings and activities and decisions is what made her look bad and is what turned people against her. The Democrats are just reeling from Trump Derangement Syndrome as they still can't believe they got slacked in the election. and worse slacked by Trump.
So Democrats are trying to manufacturer any way other than the truth as to why they lost but in the end they will end up having to face the truth. Now though what the Democrats thought was an advantage for them turns out to be a double edged sword and may end up cutting their own throats. Now you have WikiLeaks revealing that our own Intelligence agency had and has the ability to hack into most anyone anywhere and make it look and appear as if the Russians did it. So here you have a department that was under Obama loaded with people that support Obama (still) that could essentially make anything look as if it was the Russians that do it. Until the WikiLeaks that information wasn't known or public. So if there was a hack that appeared to be by the Russians then it could have been someone at our own intelligence agency that did it and make it look as if it was the Russians.
Really though the truth is that both parties leaders were hacked and attempted to be hacked and only the Democrats had no protection and such poor protection and easy passwords that their data was taken and revealed. Republicans protected their data far better and the hacks were not successful. in the end though it was what they did, the activities of the Democrats that was revealed that torpedoed them. They don't want to admit that. It's not what they did that should be the focus but that someone revealed it when it should have been kept secret and from the eyes of the public.
Frankly they deserved what they got. .... A Trump win and a sound defeat.
