Sheffield teacher arrested for improper relationship with student

WOW!!! The whole SCHOOL arrested??!! Here is how the story actually starts off:

"MUSCLE SHOALS, AL (WAFF) - A Shoals middle school was taken into police custody Saturday night after allegations of an improper relationship with a student."

I have yet to find anything about it in the TD today. You would think it would have made front page.

WHNT has taken down their comment section re: this 'story'.

WHNT TV told the story on their 10:00 news. Jerry Hayes gave the story and he also mentioned at the end of the story that this schoolteacher's husband is an employee of WHNT TV Station, so that might be why they removed the story from their website.

I want to know why the TimesDaily has not reported on this story. Is she being protected? This is obviously news that should be out there. If she were a man it would be all over the TimesDaily.

Maybe it's not on TD because she use to work for them back in the day. But I hope they are going to be fair about the situation and keep us posted daily! Because the 15 year is who got taken advantage of.

Why did they mention Covenant Christian School??? When I first started reading the article, it made it look like she was a teacher there. I understand the call just involved CCS's parking lot - but, I'm sure I'm not the only one who thought that at first. Why didn't they just say police received a call to a Colbert parking lot???

The story is now on the TD website.

"Contrary to other media reports, she was not charged until today." So I guess the TD was just practicing responsible journalism.
