I'm undecided who to vote for (except Mays).
Can anyone help me make up my mind?

With all the negative talk about Mays, I would be surprised if he gets it again, but you never know.
My vote will be between Gregory & Terry...just don't know which one yet.

quote:Gregory has been making a lot of promises he has had to backtrack on.
Don Terry plans to bring in an adminstrator to run the courthouse, file for federal grants, and do the menial tasks while he serves in the field stopping crime. When you compare the experience of the two, there no comparison, Don Terry is super experienced where Len Gregory really has none. A good deal of Gregory's experience is working as a guard in the corrections system and as a school resource officer. very little adminstrsative or crime fighting experience at all.

Actually, you are INCORRECT about Len Gregory. He DOES plenty of experience to be a Great Sheriff. He is in the military but also is CURRENTLY and has been for years a Police Officer for our community. He is NOT the school Resource Officer, so before you make a statement make the FACTS be true.
quote:Much of Len Gregory's experience in law enforcement was as a school resource officer at Colbert County High school. I know exactly what I'm talking about.

Don Terry worked at Muscle Shoals PD and would stay at Jack’s his whole shift. Let’s not forget he would give women a ride to their car on a golf cart.

Is Terry in law enforcement right now?

I feel that the officer should look at the whole situation and act from there, not have his hands tied and be forced to arrest someone for a small crime. I will likely be voting for May

What crime do you consider "small"?

arresting two people for two marijuana plants.

They should be arrested. Growing marijuana is against the law.
Were you one of the two arrested?
NO. Do you, as a tax payer, enjoy the practice of involving three police agencies to arrest two people for two plants? Running a stop sign is against the law, do you come to a COMPLETE stop EVERY time? Is that a large crime?
