I may agree or disagree of it, just not sure. I would say maybe after 2:00 p.m. after everyone gets out of church. But I am thinking there was one former member on here can't remember his name that help get a petition started back in the 80's to get it legal during the other days and also help get it legal for restaurants to sale it on Sunday, and to get draft beer here, if I am not mistaking he was also the one who made the suggestion to get the Sam Phillips celebration started.

What is so different about Sunday sales than any other day?
the only reason is for more tax money. being a drunk in the past I am against it. I would like to see a move back to the everything closed on sunday and more family/friend time. In a time where divorce rate is up, families are falling apart we need to do more. alcohol is one of the roots of evil. I for one wish I had never been introduced to it.
Yes! I don't even buy alcohol and I think it is ridiculous that you can't purchase it on Sunday. Not everybody is religious and they should not be held hostage by the religious or abide by their silly rules.
With the closure of the Sweet Magnolia, there is no place one can enjoy a glass of bubbly and a good Sunday brunch.

Sunday will make no difference if a couple is heading toward a divorce. Family/friend time can be any day/any time. If a person wants to drink on Sunday, they can purchase it anytime before midnight on Saturday.
Sunday should be no different than any other day. Only difference is the people that feel a need to dress up & warm a church bench.
BTW, the 7th day that the Bible speaks of is Saturday, not Sunday.
Sunday sales would destroy a great Sunday pastime, which is loading the wife and kids in the car and traveling to where you can buy booze on Sunday
I think the idea that someone who drinks is too dumb to stock up on Saturday is hilarious. Countless clerks at gas stations tell stories of people coming in trying to sweet talk them into selling them alcohol. With that said, if they can buy all they want on Saturday, is restricting Sunday sales gonna do much?
I'm all for Sunday sales; it's a crying shame that you have to go to church on Sunday just to get a little wine.
restricting alcohol sales on Sunday is an asinine law and should be ended.
Actually should never have been started in the first place.
I thought we already had Sunday sales?

Outlaw it all together. there are way-too-many drunks on streets and highways to suit me.

Amen to that. I couldn't have said it any better.

I tend to agree. While I am all for Sunday sales(I don't really care either way...). I've never understood the big deal really. If you enjoy a drink now and then you are going to stock up and have it available for when you want it. It's just common sense.
