Be careful going west on Simpson Street. This a.m. on my way to work, I hit a pothole, courtesy of the City of Florence, going about 30 -35 miles per hour, and it damaged my tire and wheel to the tune of $319.00, including the $50 tow. There was no signage, cones, or tape warning of this. The bright early morning sun and the shadows of the tree made it invisible, but I sure felt it, and still am! I am irate! The folks at Goodyear said they'd seen instances of this five times over the past month. Ridiculous! Really, they could save people a lot of unnecessary expenses with a "Bump" sign or an orange cone.
