The Times Daily says '70', ESPN has him at a 2 under 70 yet PGA.com has him at 1 under 71? I wasn't able to watch today but am curious as to his score. I was impressed at Rory McIlroy's 63 but even more so impressed and surprised at John Daly's score. This major has certainly captured my attention!

Thank you, Crusty. Google is indeed my friend but I still can't figure out the discrepency between pga.com (71), pgatour.com (71) and now google with 70 and ESPN with 70. One would think the PGA sites would have accurate numbers or would have at least corrected it by now.

As for your comment, bama...I have to agree that "shoot" would have been a more appropriate choice of wordage but I was focusing more on his true final "score" when I posted this. As for your implication regarding my golf knowledge, it is actually rather extensive.
Just to break things down a bit more...

Both PGA and ESPN websites show Stewart with a bogey on 3 and a birdie on holes 5&8 equaling -1.

However, on the back, PGA shows him with a birdie on 12 and a bogey on 18 while ESPN shows the birdie on 12 and a par on 18 for 35's on the front and back? As I said before, I didn't get a chance to watch the Open and I was wondering which was correct knowing that the one shot differential could potentially make a difference with the cut based on what he shot today.
