Puf - You should check out Joe Slate's book - The Hidden Side of Nature. Try Amazon. I don't know if it has actually been released yet but I read it while he was writing it and it's awesome.

South Lake Tahoe.......last April, see there is still some snow. We never have snow anymore I think it's neat that there is still snow on the mountains in summer.

I absolutely love laying (or if by yourself it could be lying ) in the bed on an early cool summer night, with the windows open, listening to crickets. Some of my fondest memories are of this and listening as an approaching thunderstorm would slowly come near, the window curtains lightly bristling in the breeze and then the sound of the rain on my grandparents tin roof. An afterwards, the fresh smell of rain in the air, the cool breeze, and the distant thunder would lull you to sleep......

We are experiencing some tough times ourselves. I have noticed a little upturn in my business.Don't know if that is a sign of things to come or a temporary thing.
