I can remember trips down to Florida, with my parents, and afterwards. We would always look forward to pulling off the highway when we would find one of the Florida Orange Grove vendors along the way. Several of them would have stands set up beside their groves and you could get them to, if you were lucky, squeeze you some fresh juice right there from their oranges. I miss those days and I so enjoy good, no great, orange juice but nothing compared to the grove stand orange juice that we got fresh from the source, not until recently.
In a recent trip to Publix, I saw a new Orange Juice vendors product on the shelf and thought I'd try it. The brand was "Coral Reef" Small Batch orange juice. I've purchased the organic types, the Natalies, Indian River, and other premium brands as well as the major players, Tropicana, Simply Orange, and Florida's Natural but nothing compared to this new brand, Coral Reef. This stuff is the real deal and honestly as close to the grove stand orange juice that I used to get on our Florida trips. I can now close my eyes and transport back several years and many more miles to enjoy the BEST orange juice taste I have found anywhere outside of Florida and Publix is the only source I can find it at.
So if you happen to shop at Publix or love the taste of actual FRESH Florida Orange juice then you really need to make a special trip to Publix and seek out this brand of orange juice and give it a try. There is no comparison to the other brands, all of them, this one is the real deal and totally outclasses the others in taste but only comes with pulp inside so don't go expecting one without the pulp. Sometimes you actually get what you pay for and in this case, it is a little bit more than most of the other brands unless you catch it on sale, which it's been for a few weeks now, but at the regular price of $4.99 a bottle, it's way worth it if you want the real taste of actually being there, in the groves and having it made fresh for you.
If you like, no love, orange juice then you really must try this one out sometime if you have a chance. If you do give it a try I'd love to know if you also agree with my assessment of just how good it is?
