"It is not a religion of peace," said Mosab Hassan Yousef, who converted to Christianity. "The biggest terrorist is the god of the quran. I know this is very dangerous and this will offend many people. The more you follow the steps of the prophet of islam and the god of islam, the more you get close to being a terrorist."

He said there is no difference between radical islam and mainstream islam. "This is a big mistake.... All muslims are the same... At the end of the day they believe in the god of the quran.... who is a terrorist and ignorant."

And butturd/pogo, before you start defending your brethren, I would think this guy knows more about the subject than even you! Eeker

DECATUR - The Decatur-area unemployment rate rose once again October as uncertainty continues to loom in the local economy.

The unemployment rate was 12.7 percent, up from 7.5 percent in October 2008 and a slight increase from the previous two months, when it was 12.4 percent, according to Illinois Department of Employment Security statistics released Wednesday. The October rate was the highest since 1982, when it was 36.4 percent.

Decatur City Manager Ryan McCrady said he is not anticipating any more big increases in the rate, but the city continues to be impacted, even as the national economy slowly shows signs of recovering.

Surely you are not that stupid. I usually try to refrain from name calling but sometimes a post is so stupid I have no choice but to call it like I see it.
but their teachings start at the creation and trace the prophet mohammeds lineage through Adam and Abraham. The old testament is used in their teachings and like the jews they dont consider Jesus the messiah, but unlike the jews they do consider him a great prophet.

side note: the arabic word for god is allah, which came from the aramaic word alah. Jesus spoke aramaic, so when he spoke the word god he pronounced it alah.
And once again we are expected to believe your faulty posts? And the unemployment thing appears to be about Decatur, Illinois not Alabama.

...when it was 12.4 percent, according to Illinois Department of Employment Security statistics released Wednesday.

Even that isn't the accepted leader in '82. Youngstown, Oh had the highest month of unemployment that year at 20.1.

notice that it says:
Arabic-speakers of all Abrahamic faiths, including Christians and Jews, use the word "Allah" to mean "God".

Jesus the Messiah spoke in the Galilean dialect of the Ancient Aramaic language. This is the language in which the disciples and the apostles preached the Gospel and the scribes recorded the Scriptures. The New Testament has been preserved in this sacred, scribal language since the Apostolic Age. The whole Bible was originated in this language.
