'The beauty of the Second Amendment is that it will not be needed until they try to take it.'

'When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty.'

'And what country can preserve its liberties, if its rulers are not warned from time to time, that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms.'

'An elective despotism was not the government we fought for.' - Thomas Jefferson

I lived over there for 2 years at Camp Howze and pulled three 90 day 'shifts' running nightly recons on the DMZ back in the early 90's and U.S. Military Liaison for the rest of that time. Even though we turned over the Panmunjon area (the last American controlled sector along the DMZ) sector to the ROKAs back then, our Soldiers over there now are certainly sweating it. One of the first things the Army tells you when processing in-country for tours on the DMZ is that you (U.S. Soldier) are a mere speed bump if the North decides to cross over. Something like this latest attack has to be unbelievably tense for our folks on the ground.

We really need a stronger President to deal with that mad-man...there is no cure for crazy and 'diplomacy' will not ever work with that guy.
