Cuts need to be made throughout the budget if you don't have a means for paying for it. The budget might have been well over what was predicted to be used. That is responsible and not wasteful. There are many programs that should be cut if they are not going to the right people who need them. This is a blanket statement. What determines special needs kids? How much funding is alotted per special needs kid? These are questions that need to be asked before anyone can say she is denying anything to those with special needs. Considering she has a child with special needs, I would think her interests in that issue would get her full attention and be properly handled.

Oh I'm sure it will Now![/QUOTE]

What's that supposed to mean? Are you saying she neglects special needs kids? Get a life!

If I wanted to act like a kindergartner I could bring up Obama neglecting his half-brother in Africa.
She doesn't seem to have a problem with getting the funds for other causes:
As Mayor Palin effecively used the system of congressional earmarks something McCain opposes. She gained 26.9 million in funding, according to the watchdog group Taxpayors for common sense, including 15 million for a commutor rail project.

While running for Govenor, Palin supported the infamous "bridge to nowhere" another of McCain's pet peeves because of the enormous cost of building a bridge to a remote Alaskan community. Palin said the bridge was essential for local prosperity. But once she became Govenor, she turned against it, citing rising cost and other needs.

She gives a great speach and is a very pretty bright lady. I'll give her that but on the issues that count who knows where she'll flop!
