I really enjoy Spring Park. It was the last place my late wife asked to go to. She really enjoyed it. She was in a wheelchair by then, but I pushed her everywhere around there. I think She knew that it would be Her last visit.
But on a lighter note, does it really have to have so many ducks and geese, gosh, watch your step and don't go barefooted.

Spring Park is a nice place. I spent a lot of time there as a child and remember seeing Jimmy Carter there in 1980.

I took my child there quite a lot when he was young. He use to climb a huge slide that seemed like it was 20 feet high while I watched mortified.

They have done a really good job with all the improvements and I know those of us who visit are proud of it.

I'd like to see more concessions and better facilities (a decent bathroom).

I usually don't hang out in the grass by the water so I've never really had an issue with the poo but it would be nice to have places to sit during the little light and water show they have. By the time it’s on kids and parents are tuckered out.

I was down there the other day and I think that slide is still there. It is hard to tell though because it looks much smaller than it did when I was young. I remember there being two slides, a big one and a smaller one. I believe they are both still there. Anyway, my parents and grandparents were always terrified when I wanted to go down the big slide. Thanks for bringing back a good memory!
