is that a supervisor of inmates? or supervisor of the work release program? or supervisor of a shift?

I supervise inmates, both city and state. No county inmates.

Ok let all remember that a Deputies must first answer calls to service, then anything that comes next, when you have only 2 to 3 deputies working a area around 630 sqaure miles, that is the priority to anything else, so to all the people that are on here complaining about others driving to fast, if everyone would obey the law, then there would not need for the topic. O wait I forgot that someone needs to remind all the adults to do what is right!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's the reason you are paid to do your job. Without them you don't have a need for cops.

Lets see, you work at a work release program, that houses state inmates, and city inmates, but does not house county inmates. Is this with the DOC? And must be around Franklin County.

My comment, was not intended to offend anyone. but to inform people that will are all adults, and need to remember that our children are very important, and whether the police is there are not, that we should all be responsible enough to use caution when driving though our school zones. But some on here choose to try and pick fights, I knew this when I posted on this topic, but chose to anyway. there is no reasoning with stupidity, but thought i would try anyway.

I have just realized why you bash cops. At first I thought that maybe you had been in trouble with the law and then I read that you work with prisoners. What's the matter? Did you want to be a cop and couldn't make it so you had to try to be what you considered the next thing closest to it and now you want to take that frustration out on everyone that has the job that you always wanted. I know that you will not admit it but I bet that I am correct in this matter. Why else would someone want to bash the very people that would help you in a time of need. I guess that you are one of those people that complain that the police are driving too fast but if you need them they wouldn't be driving fast enough. So sad.

I know, the first few days of school (usually 2 or 3) there was a county patrol car parked in front of both schools with their blue lights on warning everyone school had begun. But now none to be found antwhere near a school zone. I just want to know why and other people to ask why. Or will it take some elementry kid to get run over by someone speeding to get it done?[/QUOTE]

It should be this way ALL the time. People don't pay attention to the flashing caution lights, but let them see a patrol car they will slow down. Or how about when we leave a school zone we flash our lights so the incoming traffic to the school zone will assume there is a police car nearby, or for some reason they should slow down.
