Stealing from the Baptist

Well overall, with the exception of one or two posters who are probably members of "six flags over Jesus" I still am relieved that my computer wasn't cursed and as yet I haven't been sought out and burned at the stake! LOL I still say the "premise" of the original post was the greed of this particular Baptist church; especially the videotaping part, but am by no means condoning stealing! Of course, stealing comes in many forms. Nonetheless, to those who do "tithe" on your credit cards, be sure and watch your credit line! THE DOG

i have been there eight years and NONE of these false statements are even close to being true!!!!!!!!!! the pastor lives on colbert heights mountain. and there is no credit checks.have you ever fished or skied on colbert hieghts lake???

hey you can go to www.fbcms.org and listen to the service archives and find out for yourself..all of the services are on there....if you find anything about a credit check or card i will buy you a house on the lake(i might buy you a house on colbert heights mountain lake , you know where NOBLIT lives)

Well I would like to have a "vacation" home. Of course I am only a working stiff and not a televagelist! Glad you are happy with your church. I think it is too hypocritical for biblical words that not only do you have a million plus dollar building, you have a website and TV show. Just my opinion. I still think what happened in Fort Payne is indicative of what is going on in all the MEGA money grabbing churches that seem to obey the teachings of Jesus Christ that seem convenient and profitable. And I do know, for a fact, that you are sent a statement for IRS purposes of titheing in YOUR church and you CAN put your tithe on Visa, Master Card or American Express. GET IN DEBT FOR JESUS! I know you are steaming about now, sorry man! THE DOG

I have been staying out of this one, I am not a local, and this looks like a local issue. But I am getting a chuckle from the reactions to evangelism in your own towns.
It has reminded me that we are spreading the religion of American Style Demlcracy with BOMBS AND GUNS.

Wow, I am going to become a preacher!!!! I want all those perks too!!!!! My job just has medical benefits, retirement and other insurances... Wow, did I EVER go into the wrong profession!!! LOL!

All the country club churches around here...it's like a game of nanner,nanner my church is bigger than your church.
I wonder which one God prefers? A state-of-the-art, professionaly decorated church? or generous contributions to the needy?

Me I have no motivation. I don't go to church. When the Visiting Committee, from "The Door" about 200 yards away, or the Unity Christian Church, about the same distance away but east instead of north, come visiting I have an easy answer, "I am an Atheist. Your Church has nothing to offer me. And, more importanly, I have NOTHING to offer it. Would you like a glass of chilled, filtered water?"

It works, and it last for weeks, except with Unity Church, they sent a delegation of Strapping young men to tell me I should stop persecuting their members. I stepped off the porch and invited them to do something about what I said to people who knocked on my door.
They left. AND THEY HAVE STAYED GONE.

well DOG,,,i too agree that the fort payne issue is aweful.but that has nothing at ALL to do with first baptist.i am a working stiff also.i drive 65 miles to work every day, (one way)dont have a luxury home try my best to help those i can, be the best citizen i can be.if one democrat does something wrong are they all crooked? these comments about fbcms are still false.you have no and i mean NO right to make such crazy remarks that you no nothing about.i dont no anything about you or what your job or personal life is about and if i did i wouldnt make comments about them. that is as bad as the false statements you have made.well that is enough to make my fingers tired as you can tell i do not type much, have a good day anyway,, bow wow.....

hey just remembered the church in fort payne is actually a small church. does this mean that all small churches are corrupt. the answer is NOPE. i am member of the ibew we have had people to do things we all dont agree with but does that make all of us bad union members once again the answer is NOPE

I have only read a few of the posts against First Baptist Church of Muscle Shoals, and those few were all I needed to come to the conclusion that the postee's are either possessed by Satans Demons or are themselves the Anti-Christ. I have never benn so discusted with these *****mongers, Lyars and thieves of what God has Created. Jesus said that we would have these in the last days and what will happen to them.
I have pity on all those that have LIED and spread false rumers about Gods man "Bro. Noblet
and the faithfull" at 1st Baptist. I went to first baptist about 20 years and NOT ONE THING
memtioned on this board was ever or will ever be true. I pray that God would lighten your Hearts and souls and you would repent of these Lies & Rumors and Jesus would have mercy on your souls. Amen
