The streaker was not nude but did have a blue thong type droors on. The way he jumped that fence, they should put shoulder pads on that kid and let him run a route because he could fly and jumped that 5' fence easily. Although it was wrong the authorities should go light.

Blue thong??? Florence school colors are blue and white, MS red and black...no blue.

In the late '70s, my brother streaked at UNA. Our father was called to come to school with a robe. He was given a stern talking to by the then Dean of Students but was not expelled. My father beat the h*!! out of my brother. My brother is not in the pen and is a productive member of society. It was a prank and attention seeking, end of story,hehehe!

Kids will be kids, and I think it's pretty funny. If you don't atleast get a chuckle out of it, you may need to start looking for your sense of humor.

Just got word from someone who witnessed the incident.

It was a Muscle Shoals 10th grader. He did it on an $80 bet. The thong was leopard print. He didn't get tackled by the principal and did not get arrested but he is suspended for the year.

Parents are not too happy.

I am surprised that the "dangerous" track did not trip him and break up some of his limbs!

That is extreme don't ya think? So a teenage prank that hurt no one is now being punished by taking away his education...good call.

I could see it if they gave him a couple of days suspension and some detention...but the rest of the year is going to set him WAY back. Completely overboard.

If they penalized him that severely for something as inconsequential as this, they are a bunch of idiots. Hell, he was wearing a thong!

Most people probably laughed at his antics; only a few would get their knickers in a knot.

Yeah i've heard from several people it was a MSHS Student posing as a FHS student..

I know people who got less for calling on bomb threats when I was school. Well there's always barber college.

The kid is in 9th grade, not 10th...there was no leopard print thong.. it was blue boxers with the legs cut out. The bet was up to $150... which I doubt ever got paid. LOL He supposedly had a blue "F" painted on his chest and came out running from the MSHS field house and ran across the football field. Not that these details matter in the grand scheme of things - but before people post details like getting tackled, arrested, etc... they need to make sure they are correct. From what my nephew said, he did get expelled for the rest of the semester, and I would imagine his parents are not too happy. So at least that part is correct. lol

IMO no foul for the kid who was wearing the thong. Haven't you heard of turning the other cheek?
