SuperHero Chef's is a new restaurant to Downtown Tuscumbia and the Shoals area.  SuperHero Chef's Menu <-- menu link is an eight (8) page handful and offers some background into the owner and SuperHero Chef's itself.

This, I believe, is one place I doubt I'll be reviewing because after looking at the menu I really didn't see too much that would be interesting to me but I am interested in hearing if someone else wants to offer up a review.

My reason for posting this is to me, after viewing the menu, selections, and price it sort of seemed like a "duck out of water" situation.  I thought Tuscumbia, Alabama .. really?  This is more a restaurant that I would expect to find in say Chicago or New York or maybe  San Fransisco.  I'm not saying that folks in North Alabama aren't cultured and sophisticated and that you can't find foodies around here but for the area it is pricy and is in the same category as Georges Steak Pit, Odettes, Ray's at the Bank, The Factory (in Industrial Park)  or the 360 Grille meaning it's more an upscale type restaurant, for the area that it is in.

Maybe I'm totally wrong and hope that I am.  I'm curious to think what others think of the place and how they think it will fit in with the area dining environment.  I'm actually glad that the owner chose to open here locally and I hope he does extremely well having taken a gamble on the Shoals area.  I guess my taste is just more basic and not as experimental or sophisticated as many others are.  Hopefully others will comment.
