Sounds like some sour grapes from the William Smith supporters. LOL......Tammy has only been in office 5 months. Got 3 years and 8 months to go. I want to see proof of the "nest feathering". Produce it please.

No, I know SlingShot and he is no William Smith supporter I promise you "snake" . I did not read it that way anyway. I really don't know but what about the "using the mayor part" what about that? What have these Iron's done that is good? The bad list is growing all the time, but what good have they done? Really? The best defense is not attacking the question or questioner (like Irons do) but showing a substantial response, so here's your chance. Why should voters re-elect Tammy or Bobby Irons?

Also, I hear that Bobby Irons has a health issue that is being covered-up? Anybody know what it is about? I am trying to get more but it is really hush, hush. What's up?

Well, if the Mayor has an ongoing health issue, like say a heart problem or whatever, that is probaly news worthy and the people ought to know. Especially if hospitalized. I heard that Irons has missed quite a bit of things because of it. Very hushed and covered up of course, very secretive.

Times-Daily covers it up naturally, they only put damaging stuff in depending on who it is or who it is not.

Maybe the TD newsroom will cover it after all. I don't think they would cover it up. Do you?

Also, it is a story. Whether they do it or not is "another" story.

I think the Florence Times needs to report about the Mayors condition if it is news worthy,Im sure they are not covering anything up and I'm sure they didn't cover up the trip to Nashville where one of our fine citizens of Florence Al. was arrested for Exposing himself, Shouldn't he have registered as a sex affender,Because he has other bad habbits but covered them up also or said he took control of the problem. I can't wait until it goes public and see what kind of coverup He or excuse He has for this,They are only trying to smear me, it's a lie, I can go on and on, Let's see what he does.

Umm....That wont work. I asked someone, anyone, to produce any evidence that the Irons family has "feathered their nests". Tammy voted for a pay raise. I dont really have a problem with that. Lots of legislators did as well. So? What else? I am not attacking anyone - just asking for proof. Tammy won with 63% of the vote. Shes only been in office for 5 months. The pay raise is all you got?

As for the Mayors health. This is getting a little hysterical. If hes sick are you all going to have a party? Somehow I am finding no sympathetic interest, just a vulture like circling in hopes of a meal.

Hay Chop, there you go again. When I told Scott what you said about "Nashville" he laughed and told me that when he told his lovely wife Karla about the rumor during his original city council campaign she laughed too and said not to worry because any charge like that would be dismissed for "lack of evidence." If Karla knows it ain't true, is with him stronger than ever, and loves him like she does, then that is good enough for me. They both laugh it off because it is not true. Period. It is an old holdover from Scott's first city council campaign, apparently from the Tricky Dick Jordan camp. That the Iron's bunch is now using it does not surprise the Carrier's in the least. The Iron's are sneaky snakes hiding behind all that humble pie. The Nashville story is just that, a story. It never happened and there is no news accounts, or records, because it never happened. Believe me, it was checked out thoroughly and would have been in the paper, etc, if true. All it is, is made up bull-****. All Carrier's opponents do is slander him. They can't stand up to him honestly because he will smash them and they know it. On the issues, Carrier wins hands down. On leadership too. This rumor came up back then and Scott still killed Tricky Dick. He will do the same to the Sainted Bobby Irons if he continues to try this stuff. The more Scott is attacked the more popular he will be. Go ahead, try it. Make his day. Irons tried to attack Scott at a city council meeting and had some crazy woman do it too. It backfired big-time. People were telling Irons to apologize to Scott. Carrier just cooly took in stride and said he was disappointed that a man of Bobby Iron's "reputation" would stoop so low. Oh well. Anyway, all you have is this stuff which the people will se through. Scott & Karla are big enough people to take it. They have more character in their little fingers than you creeps do in your whole bodies put together. Anybody making a charge like you did ought to be big enough to face the one being accused. I am sure Scott would talk to you. Give him a call. But a chicken-**** like you won't. That's okay. When Scott kicks all of your asses it will be sweet indeed.

Why should it be big news for Mayor Irons to go into the hospital for a check up, It would be more news worthy if he went in for Rehab for abusing pills or maybe someone exposing themself in Nashville or something like that, But it was only a checkup and he got a good Bill of Health, What it sounds to me like is somemore of the same **** stirrers trying to be negative hoping to better themself,But time will tell.

Scott & Karla are fine people and are strong and will prosper in the face of all this garbage you ****heads put out. You must be scared if you are already slandering and mudslinging. The wimps in the other camp are the ones who can dish it out but can't take it. I remember Tammy crying about "negative" campaigning and Bobby acting like a cat with it's tail stepped on when Scott just asked him a question as to why he is trying to gut a public park for some sweetheart deal for Bob Hill's cronies. I think Scott is getting ready to ask this again because his spies are telling him that they are going to make another run at the park. Bobby will mis-lead people about it of course but Bob Hill's fingerprints are all over just about everything the "mayor" does. Meanasasnake, I think that voting to override the Governor's veto of the 62% raise is reason enough for me. It's not as if she is turning down that unmerited raise.

You might not have a problem with regard to the Alabama legislature's behavior, but I do!

A lot of us have aproblem with the legislature becauase it is the most corrupted element in Alabama politics. There are others of course but the legislature is the worst. It is a sold-out bunch of self-serving ego-maniacs who help themselves and hurt us. We have the worst of the worst from right here in the good 'ole Shoals. It is a joke. But unfortunately, the joke's on us.

Term limits would go a long way in cleaning up the Alabama law makers. In fact it's long overdue, then just maybe, N.W. Alabama will be reconized as part of the state.

I would give them all the ol' heave-ho right now. I voted for Tammy Irons once.

I voted for the coffee guy for mayor. Jeff Miller. And I'm not sorry.

The Irons are a joke but unfortunately the jokes on us for now. We can change it though. I sure hope we do.
