I see in the personal zone that there is a chat option, but I can't get it to work. Is it possible to engage in a "chatroom" on the Times Daily forum?

nope. I think the mods have their hands full with the forums. Maybe some day they'll implement the chat, but they'll have to tighten up the security around here first.

You can start a PM chat. You just add to your list who you want to be in on the PM's and do it that way. Once you start a PM though, you can't add anyone to it so make sure you have added everyone that you want to take part.
