I've never seen such derangement and obsession with people out of control in an attempt to overturn a legal election.  When Democrats win elections then everything works as intended but when they lose then there has to be some nefarious reason for it.  Even in the late 1960's Richard Nixon never faced such obsession frenzy to remove him from office.

A Connecticut city official who came under fire just weeks ago for taking a knee during the Pledge of Allegiance once again knelt in protest on Monday.

Haddam Selectman Melissa Schlag, a Democrat, first drew outrage when she took a knee on July 16 at a Board of Selectman meeting.

Schlag then posted a letter on Facebook that defended her actions, saying she knelt due to "extreme sorrow" for the country under President Trump.

An audience of several hundred angry residents showed up at Monday's meeting, according to the Haddam Patch.

It was reported that Schlag was heavily booed by the crowd, and when she addressed them about her actions, many turned their backs.

"I don't have to stop my free speech when I walk into a selectmen's meeting," said Schlag.

Fox News contributor Tomi Lahren said Wednesday on "Fox & Friends" that just because Schlag has the right to kneel in protest, it doesn't validate her actions.

"It just shows that there are some, usually on the Democratic side of the aisle, that their disdain for this president is greater for their love of this country," she said.

A video also shows Schlag telling someone that the town is "fascist and racist."

"If she has so much disdain for the country in which she lives, why doesn't she just leave?" Lahren asked.

One man attending Monday's meeting also asked Schlag, "What were you thinking when you kneeled down during the sacred Pledge of Allegiance?"

Another man said that he respects her right to protest, but that Schlag should do so on her own time.
