Frankly, they are the political equivalent of an angry flock of sheep, led by their shepherds, Beck, Palin, Armey, et al.

Yes, about what you lunatic fringe liberals are doing to his country.
You lot would not know a lunatic fringe liberal if one hit you in the back of the head with an ice ax. Hint: they are not members of the Democratic Party. Nor are they Democratic Socialists. Those two camps are the very antitheses of "lunatic fringe liberal."

There is barely any Left in the US at all in any organized manner, unlike the lunatic fringe reactionary right wing, you know, the ones who read the WND for "fact" and think that Roark dynamiting a building he did not own as the height of "individualism."

There is a haven of nearly pure libertarians: it is called Somalia. You just need enough firepower to keep the other militias out of your own Galt Gulch.

Coming from someone who is in favor of the government taking over EVERY aspect of our lives. Maybe the obama nazis will take away your keyboard someday. That would be fitting.
No one is afraid of the tea party, that group of angry circus monkeys led by their ring master Sarah Palin is just a bunch of empty threats with no policitcal power what so ever. All they are going to do is divide the GOP when they try to get Palin to run independently leaving the democrats strong and united behind a an incumbent. Palin's chances of winning are zero because no one wants to vote on an unexperienced half term governor that resigned and was educated at 3 different hoochiemacoochieville junior colleges and the University of Idaho. She is nothing but an entertainer, a complete political joke. After Obama wins by a landslide in 2012, and he will, the Teabaggers will be distant memory because they will just give up and catch the next fad wagon that Glenn Beck tells them too.

Big Grin Just keep telling yourself that, gennie. In November you will see what a circus can do but I will bet you won't be laughing. Even with the massive support of "welfare amerika" you are in for a thrashing. Big Grin

I eagerly anticipate November, so I can reply to your post. You will see that the teabagger's will merely siphon votes from republicans. Nader effect.
I do believe that "welfare" is when a benefit is extended to a group that another group is not qualified to receive and consider the extended group as "inferior". It is a "benefit for the deserving hard working taxpayer" when it is open to those who do not comprise the group that is considered inferior.

Didn't Bill Clinton destroy "welfare" in the last century? I could have sworn he did!

Racist comments, including a slur about Hispanics, posted on the Twitter page of the Springboro Tea Party were particularly hurtful to Alana Turner.

“Illegals everywhere today! So many spics makes me feel like a speck. Grrr. Wheres my gun!?” said the March 21 posting on the site managed by the group’s founder, Sonny Thomas.

Turner said the comments upset her because she and Thomas have a 6-year-old son who is part Hispanic.

“Basically, it’s like he’s saying he hates his son,” Turner said.

The Twitter posting triggered cancellations by several local and statewide candidates and elected officials scheduled to speak at a Springboro Tea Party rally scheduled for Saturday, April 17, at North Park. However, some officials say this doesn’t tarnish the Tea Party movement as a whole

We now know that most of the racist, anti-gay and generally dufus statements are from left wing agent provocateurs. Sorry, you've bee outed, not from the closet, but from the nasty place your minds reside.
A NYT/CBS poll gives the lie to the dumb kluxer meme the left is trying to foist upon the people.

"Poll Finds Tea Party Backers Wealthier and More Educated

By KATE ZERNIKE and MEGAN THEE-BRENAN Published: April 14, 2010

Tea Party supporters are wealthier and more well-educated than the general public, and are no more or less afraid of falling into a lower socioeconomic class, according to the latest New York Times/CBS News poll.

The 18 percent of Americans who identify themselves as Tea Party supporters tend to be Republican, white, male, married and older than 45.

They hold more conservative views on a range of issues than Republicans generally. They are also more likely to describe themselves as “very conservative” and President Obama as “very liberal.”

And while most Republicans say they are “dissatisfied” with Washington, Tea Party supporters are more likely to classify themselves as “angry.”

More at: http://www.nytimes.com/2010/04...politics/15poll.html

As another poll found 38 percent of the tea partiers were independent voters and 8 percent were democrats, the results may be slanted. But among conservatives, its does hold.
