Here is a joke, so don't take it too seriously:

In South Los Angeles, a fire destroyed a 4-plex.

A Nigerian family of six con-artists lived on the first floor, and all six died in the fire.

An Islamic group of seven welfare-cheats, all illegally in the country on the second floor, and they too, all perished in the fire.

Six LA, Hispanic, Gang-Banger, ex-cons, lived on the third floor and they, too, died.

A lone, white couple lived on the top floor. The couple survived the fire.

Jesse Jackson, John Burris and Al Sharpton were furious. They flew into LA and met with the fire chief, on camera. They loudly demanded to know why only the Nigerians, Muslims and Hispanics all died in the fire and only the white couple lived?

The fire chief said, "They were at work."

Racism anyone?

Actually, I don't have a racist bone in my body. It was a joke and I took it at that.

I think you have to look long and hard to find a bigger racist than Jesse Jackson. He thrives on it, agitates it, and makes a living off of it.

I don't like Jesse one bit, not because he's black, but because he is completely worthless. Al is just a tag along wanna be although he will probably carry the torch for another decade or so once Jesse retires from full time hate mongering.

By the way, does continuing to call your fellow posters rednecks on other threads qualify as "racism", or is that acceptable in your somehow twisted way of thinking, just wondering?

The act that you think it is funny tells us all we need to know about you. But don't feel bad. Most racists deny it.

So your racism is appropriate and acceptable then? Okay I'll man up and apologize to you since it is obvious I have offended you. I see you constantly screaming racist on numerous posts while continuing with your own. Please explain the difference.

Duh, the term redneck has nothing to do with race. Racism is usually self-evident to everyone except the racist who denies it. And, don't worry about offending me. That is one thing that you can't do. You might apologize, however, to the victims of racism.

A little info for you although the original meaning has nothing to do with any of the below. The original meaning is unknown to you and you wouldn't have any reason to call anyone the name by its' original meaning. You seem to think racism is just horrible, unless of course it is you slinging it around. At least I was man enough to apologize to you, but you just keep on slinging. Better look in the mirror son.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"Redneck" is a historically derogatory slang term used in reference to poor white farmers in the Southern United States. It is similar in meaning to cracker, hillbilly, and white trash.

In recent decades, the term expanded its meaning to mean bigoted, loutish, and opposed to modern ways, and has often been used to attack Southern conservatives and racists.

Ok, you know the definition. Now, what does this have to do with racism?

Contributing? Looks they are sucking the public teat, too!

The difference is the gov't. took money out of working peoples checks.
You know paychecks. This deduction(S.S. and Medicare) was taken with the
the presumption that we(wage-earners) will get a return. With the gov't
hand always in the till, it's a wonder the programs are broke. As for
Obama care, we taxpayers will be required to flip the bill for the non-
contributor. Obama care will destroy this country. It's pretty bad
when the Chinese have to lecture us on our spending practices.

My reference was in response to Rocky's response about those at Wilson Park, which you conveniently cut out. Those pics you are showing aren't from Wilson Park, nor are they Rocky, nice try though.

Isn't that standard Lib operating procedure...just make stuff up and hope nobody notices? Wink

You're right -- that wasn't Wilson Park. I don't know anything about those people at Wilson Park. I didn't say a word about Wilson Park. t wasn't my intention to talk about Wilson Park.

I do know about people receiving socialized medicine in the form of Medicare complaining about how somebody else shouldn't have socialized medicine because it might affect their socialized medicine.

Put more simply: I know you think you understand what you thought I said, but I am not sure you realize that what you think I said is nowhere near what I actually said.

OK, that is a fair question without any name calling and I appreciate and respect that.

Answer: "in reference to poor white farmers".

Obviously, you think there is a difference and I don't think there is a difference. Your own words were (approx.) racists usually don't think they are racists. So you have defined others as racist while you do exactly the same thing.

I am not looking to pick a never ending battle with you. I wish we could share differing opinions respectfully and just agree to disagree at times, even if it is most of the time. But if you chose to hurl insults while maintaining it isn't an insult, that won't be possible. I am all for wiping the slate clean with you and starting over, but that of course is your choice.
