Late last night, CNN showed some security camera footage within a convenience store frequented by the Fort Hood assassin. He was dressed in an a long white robe and a little skull cap, which is an Islamic head covering known as a "kufi." The voice-over from CNN described his attire as "traditional garb."

"Traditional"??!! Yes, for sure that get-up is traditional, but so are loincloths and feathered headdresses--for Native Americans--and so are kilts--for Scots, and so are lederhosen--for Swiss!

At no point did the CNN piece identify the villainous murderer's clothing as associated with the Arabic or Islamic world. Come on, CNN--tell us the story; we do not need diluted, generic descriptions of attire that is unambiguosly associated with the part of the world that consistently hatches, trains, and deploys killers such as this "Allah Akbhar"-shouting, mass-murdering ISLAMIC traitor!

Check out Islamic clothing on the link below:

I just saw Anderson Cooper, but I kept waiting for traditional...what? Even the Muslim reporter who commented by phone was more direct.

BTW, as a physician, just what Muslims did this guy think he might be called on to kill? My father served in the military during a wartime situation. He never said a great deal about much of his experiences--just that he thankfully did not see any action. Never once did I hear him express specific fear that he might be called upon to kill a Presbyterian (which he was while in the Army).
I was watching news last night, it finally got to were I stood up and said that's it...I am not watching anymore news. My Gosh, call a spade a spade. It was not just this story, its everywhere. I realize that opinions are....and everyone has one. It was a Muslim name, forget politically correct, it was a Muslim name.

Well said. Too bad he didn't die in the shooting...that young lady officer who stopped him certainly supplied enough lead.

On Larry King show last night , Larry, Dr. Phil and some other woamn were all over this JAG officer because he mentioned the man's name and said it was a muslim name. They all jumped him because he was not being politically correct. I had to change channels.

Good use of the remote control. I am sick of people not being able to speak the truth for fear of not being "politically correct". What happened to freedom of speech? Is it PC to deny that constitutional right?
Mommer is right, "call a spade a spade".
Oh my, I may not be PC! Wink
Hi everybody. I don't get on here much, but I wanted to add something (knowing I risk aggravating the PC Police).

America is really at war with radical Muslim fundamentalists; the "War On Terror" is just a PC term for the real description. The sooner people can start speaking in these terms, the sooner we can annihilate these whack jobs, secure our homes and military bases, and get our military home.

As long as the Government and the Media keeps dancing around with radical Muslim fundamentalists and their true nature, we will be at risk for more of this stuff.

I know, I know, George W. Bush described Islam as a religion of peace, and I believe that is probably so for the vast, vast majority of straight-living, highly moral Muslims. But for these few, who believe that Allah will be pleased when they take a sub-machine gun or an RPG into a restaurant, a street-side shop, or a military base and start mowing down their fellow man, they have corrupted the Qur’an. I have heard that the Qur’an says that if a Muslim kills one man, it is if he killed the whole world. But, let’s face it… Whether it is the religion or the culture, doesn’t it seem that Islam’s teachings may have at least some culpability in the empowering of these whack jobs? Perhaps, I feel this way because of my almost complete lack of knowledge of the religion. I had a couple of Muslim friends during my time in Los Angeles, and I’m sure that they are horrified at what happened. I would like to believe that Islam is a religion of peace, but people like Maj. Nadal are making it really difficult.

This political correctness is nuts, and I, for one, am sick and tired of it.

Do the math: Given that there are about a BILLION Muslims on the planet, if only one percent of them are disposed to killing off us infidels, that means there are 10,000,000 who would just as soon you and I were DEAD and the sooner the better.
