In my business, as I talk to people, I hear so much objection and worry from people, who 6 mos. ago, admit they didn't care much about things political. These people are bringing up the subject of their dissatisfaction with the current commander in chief and the administration.
I normally don't bring up politics, (or religion) with clients, generally speaking, but as of late, I can't avoid the subject, due to the obvious outrage by the average Joe and Jane, who are watching their country being dragged into Marxism, Socialism, or whatever far left "ism" you want to identify the "O" with.
I fully expect the leftists on the forum to slam this post, but nonetheless, this is my experience and no amount of insults changes that.
There definitely is a storm brewing beneath the surface and it is fine with me if the left is oblivious to it, or wishes to attempt to ridicule it.

Where is your business located? Alabama? Forgive me, but using the reddest of the "Red States" as a cross section for determining the approval of a Democratic ANYTHING will naturally result in a bit of a skew. We all hear what we want to hear. I did not know ANYONE who approved of President Bush. Not one single person in our circle of friends approved of him and very few voted for him and I live in Alabama. Does not mean a thing.

Yes, but I deal w/ people from all around the country. I have suppliers and reps from GA, FLA, TX, MI, OH, CA, etc., so what's your point?

So you are exclusively talking with the 34% who disapprove of Obama. Amazing. That also reflects how people feel about the "State of the Nation" according to Gallup. Link
First, did I say everyone I talk to?

NO

Second, I don't care about MSM polls, they haven't ask me what my opinion is about Obama, and I haven't been asked anything since sometime early in '08, and venture to say MOST on this forum haven't either. The media is slobbering and drooling over this empty suit, celeb of a president. They wouldn't have the ability to get a pulse on the American people if it reached out and slapped them in the face. They are involved in an incestuous relationship with their god or sugar daddy, BHO.

To make my point:

BRUSSELS – Conservatives raced toward victory in some of Europe's largest economies Sunday as initial results and exit polls showed voters punishing left-leaning parties in European parliament elections in France, Germany and elsewhere.

Some right-leaning parties said the results vindicated their reluctance to spend more on company bailouts and fiscal stimulus amid the global economic crisis.

No that you asked for it or that I think you need it, but Res has your back here.

Res operates in several forum boards throughout the states. This is one of the more lively boards. I will attest to your observations of the storm a-brewing but it's not just beneath the surface. The storm is at the surface and it looks like it will broach in the 2010 election, God willing.

People are pissed off. There are new people coming on board everyday who have never been involved in politics before but see road to marxism Obama is leading us down.

I'm gonna keep my guns, money and freedom, Obama and the Leftists can keep the change.
