I would like to thank the Times Daily for the article concerning my firefighting accident that occured on February 8th. I have just returned from "Morris Lentz Day" here in the beautiful Town of Rogersville. Thank you Mayor Richard Herston. Rogersville Fireighters the entire town for making this such a special day for me and my family. God bless you all.

i am glad you had a good day, mr. lentz. i was going to come but somehow managed to miss the notice. i was looking forward to meeting you and seeing our mutual friends marlow again.

i am distantly related to some lentzes from limestone county, so perhaps we are related! i have heard nothing but good things about you, so if so, lucky me!

i am glad you are well on the road to recovery. i hope you are full speed very soon.
I read the article, Morris. I smiled all the way through it, I could literally FEEL your determination and strength to get past this horrible accident.

Good Luck to you in all your future endeavors!!! I hope that you will continue to post your progress here on this site so that those of us not in Rogersville can share in your happiness. Smiler

Thanks Hossgal. The Lentz family is in fact from Limestone County. Our ancestry began in Germany. From Germany to North Carolina and from North Carolina to a small community in Limestone County called "Lentzville". No joke, that is the name of the area there.
Thanks for you kind comments. I really appreciate it.

I have been very blessed this weekend. I had a wonderful day Saturday. I also got the opportunity to lead singing at church this morning and tonight. Believe it or not I helped with our young people (at church) who attended a singing at the UNA Christian Student Center.
Life is good.

Hey Morris,

Were you able to get around today after such a busy day yesterday? I know you didn't want to take time to go for a rest.

I think it was a great day!!!!
Morris, You know how happy I am that U have made such an awesome recovery, so far. I know that you will be 100% as soon as U possibly can. I too, love Rogersville, it's where my Father's family came from, My Grandfather, John, had a twin Brother Ross, who lived in downtown Rogersville, next to the school and the park. My parents, along with my Grandfather also owned a fish market by Wheeler Dam, and a restaurant in the downtown area of Rogersville, so for that reason, I love Rogersville, and proud to say that my family (Father's) came from there, as well as Greenhill, where my Mother's family came from, the Gists. Small world, keep it up Morris. Good Luck!!!
Would that be Ross H?
