Okay I still don't know why those 3 got the ban stick and I'm still curious as to the specifics. I've seen the support for Kindred and just wanted to show Smart Chick some love and I say I hope she returns soon.

As for the Fat Bald Gay guy.....I'm sure Jesus loves him but I don't think he has a account.

Same here. I absolutely cannot imagine what got her banned. She is blunt sometimes, but if that is the worst thing you can say about someone, they are still pretty terrific. She contributed greatly to many discussions here. No, she did not back down when she felt she was right but neither does anyone else. I do not like it!

Yep...TSC could separate her facts from her opinions, and she could always back-up her facts.
Some could learn a valuable lesson from her.

As I said on the other post that due to alot of private messeges I cannot see why these people were banned and putting all those messeges together I see a very bad rush to judgement. I think that training maybe in order for mods to follow thier own rules too. I hope to be able to meet both of these people they sound very interesting.

No folks -- when tey ban you they ban your ISP - not just your account -- so you can't do any sneaky sneak and get back in unless you go to a whole new place and a whole new computer....I've talked with them both and they are not happy and were stunned by this, but they are both in agreement that they were not doing anything wrong by posting their thoughts which on that thread were amiacable -- they were told to ignore each other and because they didn't ignore each other (like a good child should) they were banned. They were given no time imit on how long to ignore each other so neither thought they were in the ewrong...they had worked out their diffrences so to spaek....I hope the mods will change their minds and let them come back -- it's rather boring without them...

I know TSC, she's a great person. She speaks her mind and is pretty logical. KS speaks her mind as well, but is missing in the logic department.

It's the characters that make the forum interesting, so I think it was a mistake to ban them both. There should be an uncensored forum so when you have a problem with someone, take it there and let it out. That will keep the discussion forums free of bickering and people won't get their accounts banned for standing up for themselves.

Hopefully they will both be back soon.

Is that really it? They got banned because they responded to one another? What was the thread concerning? WHY delete the thread in question if there was nothing negative on it? Something is fishy. Do we know for certain that a thread was deleted? Did anyone see it before they deleted it?

Hello Dixie,

I would find it very difficult that the TimesDaily could ban an entire ISP. That would involve blocking out a huge range of IP addresses and would probably eliminate half the members here.

The only way I know to block a member is by blocking a member name or a specific IP address. However, most folks have what is called a "dynamic" IP adress that changes from day to day (or perhaps week to week). So blocking an IP would probably have no effect on a person determined to post here.

Until the TimesDaily institutes a registration process that validates users, any banned user should be able to sign up for another account an begin posting immediately.

You use your e-mail address to log in, I think they put a block on the e-mail address so no matter what computer you are using, you still can't get in.

True but you may not be aware that they do not require a "valid" email address. All that is required is some letters before and after the "@" sign and a valid extension (.com, .net, dot whatever). It doesn't have to be authentic.

In short, they'll let anyone in this place.
