THE BLVD CLUB IN COURT

Users agree to not post anyone's personal information (i.e. e-mail address, street address, telephone number, etc.)

I read in the paper where there were multiple owners. Why are you mentioning only one?

What is the BLVD?

I cannot even find the News article on it... I guess I don't read ALL the news... Wish the author had posted the link.

the blvd is the club located in the old sportsrock cafe , dreamland, and numerous other failed business ventures. several of my friends have worked since it opened and none of them have been paid.

Anybody familiar with Myspace, can definitely tell this came from a Bulletin posted there.
Hence, probably why the person posted and didn't reply back, as they were just spreading the word.


I've never been to the BLVD, although I have heard of it. And if it's really true that they havent been paying their employees, then I do hope that they are able to get compensation. I also hope that this forward, actually is true for those looking to be paid.

In my experience, bulletins have been fabricated often, and in this one, it would be sad for those to meet at the court house, just to find that there was no actual reason to be there, legally. Basically, I hope it's not a joke.

Businesses shouldn't be allowed, either way, to not pay their workers, so I hope those that weren't paid do find a way to get their money from the BLVD. It makes me mad to hear that some went without being paid. x(

Even though this was from a Myspace bulletin, it is definitely NOT a joke and it is true that employees of the BLVD have not been paid.

I didn't say that part was a joke.. I meant the part about going to the court house on the 26th at 10 am... I was hoping that That part wasn't a joke.

I definitely agree that the people that didn't get paid should get their money. I'd be over at the Labor board and consulting with a lawyer, if it were me.

Consulting a lawyer probably got em where they are now. For better, faster results they probably should have gone to Lowes and got em a 2x4.

ROFLMAO.. Midnight... Yep, that probably would have gotten them faster results.. But in the end, still no money, and probably jail time..

I think the lawyer route is better in that respect.. May be less messy and the clean up a little bit easier lol

why would anyone work for someone without pay in the first place? i heard this went on for more than one weeks pay

Why would anyone work at a bar and then expect to get any respect about their wages. These are the sleaziest people in the area. and what is it with this location that makes it not profitable? I would invest in something at this location even with someone elses money.
